Live game 1-2 PLO high game with a 5 dollar bring in. I'm terrible with bet sizing and would like to improve that aspect of my game.

I'm on the button with KJT7 with ~$500
1 limper, a raise to $20, I call, limper calls. Both have me covered - limper by about $300, raiser by a lot more, but it's irrelevant.

Flop is K78 rainbow.
Limper checks
Raiser bets $30 ~ half pot
I call my top and bottom pair with a gutshot, Limper calls

Turn is a 9 giving the board 2 hearts and giving me the nut straight
Checks to me, I bet the pot ~$155 <--- Is this good, I would think so, but open to criticism
Limper thinks for a while and calls. Other player instafolds

River is a non heart 2

limper checks.

Me???

Do I just go all in here ~$300? His hesitation calling the turn makes me pretty sure he doesn't have the nuts and I want to extract what I can from him.
Not much of read on him. A couple of hours earlier, he stacked me turning quads to my overboat - seemed pretty standard. But then he was moved to the main table and I didn't get moved until a few hands before this. So not much of a read other he plays a lot of hands, but so does just about everyone at 1-2 PLO live where I'm at.
His read on me is hard to say other than he may notice I play less hands than most.
What's a good size bet to sell the nuts?

300 into 465 isn't big at all, just bet it

Agree. If you want to mix up a blocker bet size to balance your actual blocker bets you can do that also.

Okay thanks!

Let's say I was deeper and could easily pot it and then some left over? Still just pot it?

Okay, thanks, that's pretty much what I thought.
The reason why I asked is that I went all in, the guy tanked for about a minute or so and eventually folded. I feel like if I bet like half or a third of the pot or something, he may have called. But of course it's possible, he'd call anything and I'd miss out on value.

Well you know what they say about PLO:

"If in doubt, pot it out"

Because you have a doubt, you should be potting it on every street.

I would advocate for Potting the river when we have the nut in Live PLO, most of the player pool don't really think about what your hand range & combo would be they mostly think of you are trying to push them out of THEIR pot. Even if Villain doesn't call you this hand he would still remember it and the next time you pot with the nut he would be more willing to call you.
