Villain is sticky on flop and turn, but has the ability to fold relatively big river bets after a calling two streets.

Do you think its mandatory if you are making this play you have to plan from the flop to fire three bullets on non paired boards?

Depends if you think he folds flushes or calls twice with 2p
I think it's mandatory to have bluffs, but you may want to reconsider taking that line with this hand against this opponent (I wouldn't know if he's the type you want to exploit or not)

i just fold pre, not having suits sucks. i would give up on turn or go for the third barrel, not just 2 streets.

Is this an after-the-fact annotation of the hand, or were you aware of this prior to the hand?

Just situationally aware that he was a bit of a calling station on turn and river

It's not mandatory atall, should be entirely frequency or villain dependent.

I'm guessing that if you fire off with every 2NFB for 3 streets every time on these runouts you *might* be bluffing a bit too much by the river. You'd have to go do the math, I don't know the exact number off hand and I could be wrong.

Although, if V has an highly exploitable 3 barrel fold I can't really see a better run out to be firing off with the 2NFB. Depends entirely on how much he folds.

3B pre was a little ambitious being that you weren't double suited. In any case some players will always call two bets when they flop top/middle set. I think if you're going to bluff this type of board you have to be willing to three barrel but do in such a way where the river bet is big enough relative to the pot that the player won't just "shrug and call".
