1/3 (100-500) Full ring PLO at Casino
Hero has roughly $380 stack (in for 300)
Multiple villains with stacks from $300 to $1300
Hero has A6A8 in the UTG+1 and limp for $3 intending to RR knowing button (best player on table) is guaranteed to put in a raise if noone raises b4 but would call a raise IP if they did....and im OOP ...Yippeeeee...

UTG+2 (on tilt down $1k) calls
MP calls
HJ calls
Button ($350) makes it $20 Dammn i read you like a book
SB and BB and UTG call $20
I spring my trap and go ahahaha and repot to roughly $120 (cant remember exact amount) with $250ish left behind..

4 villains (MP Button SB BB) go --not literally "F U tight ass we know you got AAds muthatrucker " we call anyway creating a preflop pot of approx $600.

Welllllllll obviously THAT didnt work in thinning out the field.....Please LeroythePokerGod help me out the flop...

FLOP J55

OK possibly the best or worst flop for me.....given that i could perceivably be up against ranges including QQxx KKxx JJxx the other AAxxdry 4cardsuited rundowns like 78910ds,AKQJds or even lo cards like 5678ds knowing all the high cards are out..

Sb and BB check to me and i open shove with 1/2 a PSB left ($250 ish into $600) ...Standard yeah? Could an option be to check with 2 villains left to act behind me and see what they did first and possibly give a free card or call/fold to significant action...Im either WA/WB....Just wondering if my decision tree is right...If im in front they are going to fold anyway to an allin..If im behind then they are always calling.. Does 4 other villains in a 3 bet pot does this change decision making option as opposed to just HU ?

Obviously i lost and will post other action later....and am happy with variance train ride but would you do different flop wise...(yeah yeah i know dont open limp AAds pre blah blah...expecting to rr just open raise pre and play a smaller pot preflop OOP...etc)

Just trying to get better...and run better
Thanks for any input

Yeah think the only move is to shove here
Can't fold when the pots so big, happy with the flop

I would just open raise pre. If you get flatted by the world then your hand plays great multiway. If someone 3-bets easy gii. That said l/rr got 1/3 of your stack in so can't be a mistake.

Completely standard shove on flop. You're obviously beat by a 5 most of the time, but even then you have decent equity. You're never folding so may as well get value from worse FDs and make pocket pairs, Jx, runner runner, etc pay to catch up. Getting most of the remaining players to fold their equity is big.

Preflop must raise with this monster. There s no point in checking and seeing what other 2 players will do,when they will jamm qq or kk with clubs, possible even lighter.Standard shove.

I'm writing this reply before reading the thread. I just saw title, holecards, and flop. And yes there is only one move.

Unlikely I'll have to come back and revise this post after reading everything

edit: ok coming back to say raise pre dont limp rr

I mean obviously if this is your specific read and you're pretty sure of it limp/rr is way better than just open raising, its just a pretty fishy move other than this exact circumstance.

If this is at the Star in sydney then this is good play - nobody is folding to an UTG raise to $10-$15. And then you have more trouble to deal with.

Shoving here is profitable over time as you will get called down but worse flush draws a lot and even J type hands knowing this place. dont second guess it.

Thanks for responses....
Crown Perth Casino....same deal...noone folds for a single raise pre...so limp rr usually thins the field but makes my hand faceup..

As to flop action..
After i shove all in..
HJ with biggest stack ($1300) repots it..pretty much allin himself
Button $200 left calls all in
SB $600 left calls all in
BB folds......I think i know right now im in a spot of bother!

Final board J 5 5 Q 4
HJ has 5QAx wins side pot (side pot/s was worth $900)
Button has JJxx and scoops the main pot ( a tidy $1400 ish pot which is pretty good for a 1/3 game)
SB had KK56ds
and i came a miserable last..lol

I was just running through the hand afterwards and thought...if i had checked then the following action ...pot call call wouldve been enough for me to lay down the hand and save $250 bucks...theres an old saying...sometimes its not how much you win...but how much you dont lose..

It’s easy to look at it this way however the other two options are If you check and they push you out and an A hits or if it checks round and turn gives someone a free out . How would that feel. On that board there are few houses other than JJ given the board which still has you live against a 5. This is why you need to be bankrolled playing PLO because idiots calling 4 bets with ****. But that is how we also make money.

It's a standrd all in, you have quite a lot of equity when opponent has not flopped a boat yet
