Not sure if i'm supposed to jam turn - but I ended up running out of time and didn't know what to do so it folded me.

$188.5 Hero dealt
879T

$116.96 - Mid position is fish and goes $3
Hero goes $10.5
$430.19 CO (decent player) calls

Blinds fold

Fish calls

$33
J39

Fish checks
I check as I feel against 2 players if I get action i'm gonna be up against better draws - sets - which is probably really bad thinking
CO goes $33
Fish calls
I call

$132
2

Fish jams $73.46
I fold
CO calls

I think I butchered this hand pretty bad. Thoughts?

Against there perceived range - what is my equity? If I'm against say a set and higher flush draw i guess i'm toast. I just figured I'd cut my losses and fold - Turns out I was correct in my thinking and was drawing super super thin, but I would of won had I of called it off, or bet myself. I was drawing to a non diamond 7 or 8 LOL.

Definitely just x/jam flop if you check

I think its an easy fold on the flop. If CO is a "decent" player the only two hands he would be betting with here have you crushed. Yes hes last to act and everyone has shown weakness but this board is way to wet for a decent player to try to steal. The fish can show up with a variety of hands here but honestly his calling range probably crushes you also as if he has diamonds you are toast and any other "made hand" is better also. Basically you will end up calling a flop bet drawing to 6 clean straight outs and even of you hit them you have to sweat a paired board on the river or a diamond.

These are the kind of hands that look ****ing huge to someone making a transition from HE but the reality is in Omaha they are only going to win a small pot or lose a big one. Occassionally you can stack off in +EV spots with this kind of hand vs a player thats turned their hand face up by 3betting pre with an over played AA hand but even then you don't really want to get mixed up if you are both deep because if he has a higher flush draw to go with it you are in big trouble.

+1 fold flop on this action.

Why not just cbet this hand?
Your goal here is to realize your equity, and by checking, you open yourself up to this situation where BTN bets, MP calls/jams > Hero is in nasty spot.

If you cbet, you give yourself the best chance to isolate one of the opponents, and you can stack off against either one HU I think (not thrilled about it vs. BTN but definitely have enough equity vs. average range).

If it goes cbet (~$25), raise, raise, I think you can just fold with massive domination issues vs. two allin ranges.

As played turn fold is fine, but not betting this flop vs short-stack fish is crazy
