You're on the button & CO open raised? JJxx is an OK set mine if you're in position for a single raise as long as blinds aren't 3Bet happy.

Folded to hero in CO

Honestly limp/raise/fold are all valid options depending on players behind you. Generally this hand plays pretty poorly postflop w/o hitting a set & can't really stand a 3b pre when we raise, and it's even worse if we end up OOP vs the BTN instead of IP vs the blinds. Also, ppl hardly fold to CB @ these stakes, so it's not as simple as raise/CB/take it down. Open limping & opening ourselves up to a BTN isolation is also dangerous. This is why fold is also on the table.

I'm guessing ur trying to learn the game/improve? Open raising is probably best then. It's a standard play despite the drawbacks & learning to play w/ initiative is important even if we rather have a rundown or something stronger.

Do you have KKJ2, or JJK3?

I think raising/ folding pre actually are both fine. Fold pre if you feel the other players behind u have a high 3betting percentage (u have no Ace blockers) / fold pre if they are all preflop calling stations and u have to take this hand multiway. U have many single suited AJJx that can go multiway with the nut flush draw so you dont have to play this combo of JJ. even a hand like JJ87 would probably perform better! cheers!

interesting, i used other solver solutions and it opens 48 out of 96 combos namely the suited ones to a J or K with ev 9,1bb/100
