PokerStars - $0.10 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 40.2 BB
MP: 100 BB
Hero (CO): 243.3 BB
BTN: 95.5 BB
SB: 105.6 BB
BB: 63.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB, MP posts penalty blind 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.5 BB) Hero has Q J A Q

UTG calls 1 BB, MP checks, Hero raises to 5.5 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 4.5 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (13.5 BB, 2 players) 2 4 J
BB checks, Hero bets 10 BB, BB raises to 42.9 BB, Hero raises to 75.8 BB, BB calls 15.4 BB and is all-in

Turn: (130.1 BB, 2 players) 3

River: (130.1 BB, 2 players) 5

BB cashed out 74.5 BB for a fee of 0.8 BB

BB shows A 5 3 K (Straight, Five High)
(Pre 43%, Flop 60%, Turn 100%)
Hero shows Q J A Q (One Pair, Queens)
(Pre 57%, Flop 40%, Turn 0%)

Pre: Standard. I have a strong hand on the button, raise big and see what sticks.

Flop: Top pair, I have a jack blocking top set and this guy called from the BB. I honestly don't know how to think of his range here, but the low card don't struck me as the most dangerous piece of the flop.

People generally fold a lot to C-bet and I don't want to give a free card to a flush draw. If I get called I think the only cards I like to see are 3 tens, 3 aces and a Q.

When they check raises I think having the jack and the low cards means I can't be in too bad a shape and it is 5 more to call for a 7 dollar pot so I am getting 1.4. As it turns out I am more than breaking even on this call, but I think I got the lower portion of his checkraising range, so I probably should fold in these situations.

33.5 bb in the pot and it costs you 58.3 to stack off total so 48.3 more. so you are getting 1.70:1 to stack off. So you need to average 37% equity. Normally in a single raised pot this would be a snap bet fold, villain's stack size makes it closer.

I think best to b/f with this particular combo. Checking back is bad, stacking off is iffy, but I don't think it's a huge punt. Note however you have 40% even against A high no fd.

As in, there is a 2 and 4 (and I think having seen the straight at then end biased me) , maybe its more appropriate to say connected whene there is no gap on flop like 56J,45J,34J,23J?

Sorry A high you mean some AA** hand? I think that is unlikely give how BB played, with that big a raise and him being short too

What? BB has AK35. That's A high. Still had 60% though.

2pairs or pair + flush, his all-in range is crushing you.

I would check back the flop and fold to a bet on the turn on this card.

Checking back with top pair blocker and Ad is absurdly nitty. I can't take this anymore.

Hey there,
I played very loose and lost a lot of buy ins on PLO10 and PLO20.

then, I watched the series of videos on youtube of a guy playing really tight PLO200.

I like his style a lot now, and its like 20/15/4.

Tell me, what stakes are you playing and how much are you winning?
