5 mandatory button, 1/2 PLO. Zero has recently rebought and has 450 ish, with requisite tilted (but not angry) image.

Villian is tight passive two to my left.

Zero has JJxx. Z in early position. Probably limp /called 20-30 in the big blind preflop.

Flop is QJ5.

Z pot the flop for 120- ish. Only V calls.

Turn is 5.

Can Z ever find a check fold? Or just shove all in for the rest? If V was preflop raiser, does this change things?

The cards matter, the action matters.

Depending on all four cards, just open fold. Unless you have good JJ fold to the raise. Don't donk bet flop.

By turn if villain is truly right passive he isn't calling pre. or flop with many 5's, so he's probably got QQ ... but then that's also likely given you posted.

Given no reads at live 1/2/5 I'm not folding the 3rd nuts for 1 SPR on turn, but probably shouldn't be in that spot.

Folding this turn is the nut low

I’m a hold Em player getting comfortable with Omaha but why would anyone fold that turn? I’ve never counted the possible number of combinations to determine if someone can be holding QQ in a hand like this but is it a frequent enough number to fold here?

I’d definitely half pot the turn to get value if I do have the best hand and not chase someone out with a 5 hanger.

Am I thinking wrong here?

no you are going to have the best hand almost always here. OP is just seeing monsters under the bed.

Actually I rivered the monster under the bed. But, same exact cards, same player, got it back.
