Great idea! Ill give it a try. Obviously depends on a lot of factors, two most important being who is UTG limping and who is on the BU. As for UTG limping im going to assume its your standard 45/15 recreational player.

A) 55TT Raise (i think this one is debateble). If BU or Blinds are very active im limping behind)

B) KK94 limp-behind

C) QT2Q limp-behind

D) T987 Raise

E) K987 Fold

F) A245 Raise

G) A288 limp-behind (folding with aggressive players behind)

H) QT96 easy raise

J) KJJ8 raise

K) QTT6 raise

L) 4567 raise

M) KKKT raise (folding with active players behind)

N) AAA2 raise

One difference I see between Ari88 and muehlenzwick is that Ari88 doesn't like isolating with the big to medium pocket pairs QQss/KJJss/QTTss.

Both of you agree that isolating the run downs is best, differing on K987ss.

If Ari88's choices are from the solver then it looks like it prefers hands that can realize it's equity by being connected.

While a hand like 4c5c6d7d has less raw equity than QcTcQd2h vs a 45% range, it gets to realize it's equity better because of its playability allowing it see more turn and rivers.

Not sure if I am making sense and someone correct me if I'm wrong. Just thinking out loud :].

Is there a way in PPT to ditch the top 5% or 10% of hands because then it'd likely be a lot more accurate.

edit: I found out how to do it and it was extremely complicated as you can see...

ProPokerTools Omaha Hi Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
qctcqd2h58.34% 346,9786,065
10%-45%41.66% 246,9576,065
ProPokerTools Omaha Hi Simulation
600,000 trials (Randomized)
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
4c5c6d7d44.56% 263,0888,602
10%-45%55.44% 328,3108,602

Would looking at graph vs range be a more accurate way of looking at this?
