Cool - thanks. I think it happened to me once on global where I dumped like 20 buy ins in a few sessions but never in like 200 hands.

I lost more than $1 a hand in this bovada session lol!!!!

just looking at the graph, you only got sucked out on once, and lost two or three flips.

that in itself is very common.

didn't look over the hands themselves, but cold decks happen. sucks when it comes in quick succession.

maybe implement a stop loss? 5 stacks lost to silly cold deck, just quit, get a coffee, watch a series, try again later.

looked over the hands: it's not terrible, it's just a high variance style.

if you want to roll that way, then losing a lot if the **** hits the fan will happen.

only hand that is glaringly wrong is the 3bet with 6 high.

I dont care if its a double suited rundown, multiway that does not matter, at the very best you should count it as one suited since one suit is bound to be covered.

from the sb i might even fold it if the BB is going to squeeze light.

As the poster above said, Hand 7. is a massive spew. It's a 6-high rundown that will go to multiway. It doesn't even balance anything. Fold it pre.

Look up equity’s if they share cards. I’d be ahead if they both have AA. Or just change it so my suits aren’t dominated. I’m like 30% most of the time at worst and getting 3-1 on my money.

Still a high variance play but not a massive spew

Ya I’m up a lot over the 3 sites I play on. But since this is a new site and the players are horrible it just seemed odd to lose so much in such few hands. I played today and went on another 5 buy in downswing followed by a 10 buy in upswing. Really swingy week. The other sites I’ve never swinged this much but they play a lot tighter.

ignition and bovada are the same. And probably - almost impossible to tell because of anonymous users. The site feels more like a casino than a poker game. The swings are outrageous and there video poker seems rigged.

The Double bonus has a 99.3%?? return. I think that's close. But it doesn't have the same feel as the ones in the casino that I play a lot. Maybe someone else on here has played them and can vouch.

Your sample size is small but you should see PartyPoker. Quads and Straight flushes on daily basis. It's less run bad but board runouts and insane action flop textures that make me wonder whether PartyPoker actually increases variance.

Other than that, Bot rings who share holecards will make you run super bad. I am pretty sure that's happening on Party because every time random guys overcall 3bets or 4bet for fun they have boards covered vs my AA. Another thing is when they push ****ty pairs knowing draws are less likely to hit.

That seems pretty standard for Bovada.

I ran up and ran down a bankroll within 2 months on that site, feeling like I was playing correct and getting in good spots and then still feeling like I was making good decisions but getting absolutely wrecked.

The demise of my time on the site was due to poor bankroll management, but if I decide to move some money around again, I would definitely go back. The play is pretty bad and if you can keep your head together, you'll get through the swings and post in the winners column more often than not. The plays and decisions that get made on that site left me shaking my head time and time again lol.
How common or uncommon is this? Bovada run bad Quote
