man, I've been taking such a beating that I feel I've become super weak in spots like these against such aggro opponents. My gut feeling is to shove it in his face, but he'll snap call any flush draw, and if he has an A or K to go with it, he doesn't even perform that bad against me. If he has flush draw and overpair I am crushed... so.. just call? I'll be totally committed if the turn blanks, no? Fold?

I've never been a fan of the term, I'll be committed if......

If you think he's only on a draw, call, evaluate turn and if it is a blank, shove the best hand in.

If you think you're beat and have to catch up, figure out your outs, figure out your clean outs are, and then make a decision.

To further my initial point. Shoving because the numbers say you should shove is the correct play from a long term EV perspective. However, there is still a certain human element that only you will feel, as to whether or not you're ahead or behind on the turn. Don't be afraid to throw the numbers game aside, if you think and feel like you're getting it in bad.
