Help! Run bad or just bad? Help! Run bad or just bad?

Hi everyone,

Long time poker player here. Lurked this forum for quite a bit but never really contributed (which I would like to change).

Ive been trying to get back into PLO online the last few months. However, things are not going well to say the least..

I know I dont have many hands, but can anyone give me some advice based on the following graph? Is it normal for my non-showdown wins to be so negative?

Am i running bad or playing poorly? Too passive? Im new to Poker Tracker and need some help reading the graphs to help improve my game.

Thank you for your advice and I hope to be a regular here!

Forgot to mention Ive been playing PLO100 and PLO200 zoom on stars.

Here are the graphs for those stakes;

PLO100 -- - 1021.50 over 5295 hands (-19.29BB/100)

PLO200 -- -1912$ over 6480 hands (-14.76BB/100)

Needless to say, after losing So many BIs, im losing confidence very fast. I dont know if Im playing correctly anymore. The chips just always seem to flow away from me

first off - 13k hands is nothing, that's like a week of playing for most grinders , need probably 150-200k+ hands to get an idea for if you are winning or at least break even

second- did you just post this for the bbv since you are obviously running bad over this sample with your all in EV being positive and you being down a bunch

Thank you for your response. I know 13k hands is a super small sample. I just wanted to get an idea of whether I trully am a -15BB+ player before hitting 100k hands, because at that point it would have gotten seriously expensive! lol..

As for your second point, Im not too sure I understand. Thes are all the hands I ahve played since trying to get back into online PLO. I didnt choose a particular segment to show anything. Simply asking for advice on what you see. Im particularly interested in opinions on the Winnings with and non showdown lines. Would one indicate that I am too tight, passive or calling too much?

Looks exactly like my graph. There is so much variance in PLO you'd prob need a fairly huge sample to tell if you are a winner or not. I believe Sauce also said something about needing 10 million hands or something before ev was reliable.

Part of 13k being too small a sample is that it's impossible to say anything like this about it. I've seen multiple comments from high level pros. saying that they have multiple 50k hand samples that look like they are from different people (completely different lines going in different directions etc.)

Post hands or comment on hands posted by others, esp. if you'd do something different.

You're contradicting yourself. You know it's an irrelevant sample size, but you don't care and still want to extrapolate information from it??

If you're afraid it'll get expensive, move down in stakes.

As to playing too tight or not, post overall stats, nobody can tell from a graph.
