Leading flop is good, don't have to worry about playing balanced in a multi way pot, you want to start protecting your hand and build a big pot. Having clubs sucks if you want to argue a hero call, but having a 9 is nice for obvious reasons. Arguably all the straight draws that can call twice got there like T98x but villain can still have SD combos on the bottom that bricked and want to bluff and depending on the type of villain he might turn hands like one/2pair into a bluff if they have decent card removal to go along with like no clubs W/ Tx or 9x but by the same token they will be checking a lot of 2p at showdown

Given pot odds you have to be right here 33% in order to make a profit, and having 9,this is a call imo.Specially cause both fd bricked. He can have bunch of stuff here top pair with

flush draw or turned flushdraw,it`s not slam dunk call of course ,but you have to call sometimes.

I doubt I call pre. ... yeh, it's a min. raise but you almost never flop anything you can play against 3 villains.

Saying "almost never" ... not having the A and having a 9 I sigh call river.

Other callers' ranges who called min would be quite weak as well so I'm fine w/ calling pre.
Would rather check flop 1st hand at the table than bloat OOP.
Check turn.

I'd fold as played readless after heavy action 3way.

I also call pre, wouldn't fold for just another extra dollar.
Agreed with potting flop. I rarely donk but given UTG's sizing pre I'd just view this as a straddled pot and would lead.
I'd probably go a bit smaller on turn but you got called so your sizing is fine.

River is a tough spot. Hard to see him overvaluing a worse made hand on this run out given the way he played it. If we think that's the case he has to be bluffing 1/3 of the time. That seems unlikely to me, though it's also hard to see how he has the straight here. I think river is a fold, and you just have to assume he had either the wrap or a made hand that came along with cards that happened to hit the straight. I don't think people are bluffing enough here to call a PSB.

In game, I probably do call because V's line makes no sense, and then get shown something stupid like AcxcT9.

Don`t like checking flop,as my intention would be to bloat the pot with this kind of hand.Turn check would be very bad definitely ,5 is not a scary card at all.River is really tough, and it can go either way.

pretty much agree with everything you said

+1 to lead flop, I like it vs. the preflop minraise

+1 to smaller ott, you almost narrow calling hands to better ott here OP with pot/pot sizings

I fold river, I think Hero's range is clearly very strong globally when we check the river (and is a fair amount of understraights) so I can't see average V bluffing enough of their missed clubs to make this a call? idk

you won`t be able to gii profitably vs tight raising range 4(3)way.
I actually smirked at the thread title after seeing the hand.

In bottom half of turn cards distribution equity wise which means its at least not a great card and barely "not a scary card at all" given they will have 10-15% of straights ott each thus you`ll get jammed on 20-25% of times.

However yes after you led marginal draw and texture became even more draw heavy you are incentivized to protect your hand 3way and would have to call it off vs shove.
But it all has something to do with flop action.

I guess not

I'm not suggesting we bet small, I just think 85% is preferable to pot. We don't want V to be able to hero fold bottom set+draw type of hand.
