Q: Is this a loose PF call by the BTN? Am I seriously making huge errors by not calling IP with these types of hands?

V's hand is trash and should be folded pre at all points.

What do you have though? Rather than thinking about whether V is making good decisions it's much more fruitful to make sure you're making good decisions.

Limping (not to be confused with overlimping) the btn with a wide range is pretty reasonable from a theoretical standpoint though there are always several important factors to consider before adopting that type of strategy
