Decision Preflop with AKK9ss? Decision Preflop with AKK9ss?

The game is $1/2 with a $5 bring-in and was 9-handed.

UTG+1, LJ and BTN all limp with 100bring-in ish stack sizes. The SB pots it to $30 off of a stack of $185. I'm in the BB with with AKK9 and playing a stack of ~$450. With a blocker to Aces and a nut suit with not the worst dangler I decide to pot it to $105 and then it folds around to the SB who jams all in for $185.

I was playing with SB for about an hour and a half and saw him limping 90%ish of hands. Looking back, it seems like a way ahead way behind kind of spot where I'm beating broadway rundowns but losing to Aces. Perhaps a call makes sense from that angle, but my hand doesn't play that well multi-way.

Is this 3-bet too wide in a full-ring game? In this position I can call $80 to win $385 and am getting the price to call against most Aces, but I'm not against AAKx which have me in terrible shape. Is it a 3-bet fold spot? I would guess that's the worst option, but I'd like to see what you all think. Thanks in advance.

Spoiler:
I call and the SB doubles up with AA84

It's definitely not a fold pre, it's either a call or a raise, and it's very close imo vs. a short stack, I think your play is fine, call is also fine

I don`t think this is mistake this deep.It is not 3bet fold almost ever when you have to call

less than pot size bet left only,in this case just 80$ to win 385$.In full ring game I would

probably 3bet only ds versions of this hand, and even that not always, depending on your

position,stack sizes and opponent`s tendencies.

I flat for a couple reasons. In my experience a SB pot raise is heavily weighted with AA hands and your hand is severely handicapped heads up vs AA because it contains a pair AND an ace. Further the only value the 9 adds is flopping trip or quad nines.

This is a perfect spot to flat and set mine with KK. You are in ideal position relative to the raiser and calling encourages the LJ and BTN to enter the pot which both increases chances for set over set and dominating FSD situations all while giving you better immediate odds.

Player dependent but with a stack that small, I see it often enough that they have a "good" hand and just say wtf, let's stick it in there. Obviously it's aces sometimes too, but I'm OK sticking it in there. Probably about a breakeven play.
