so my dad showed me one of his PLO hands and he knows i have the NANDEZ course on vhs and wanted to know what i thought, figured id get some second opinions :
game is four handed .30/.60 with 3 other somewhat spazzy whales all 400$+ deep, we're sitting on 120$
we OPEN A
2
2
T
from CO and see flop HU with the BB who calls.
flop is T
4
3
and the old man 75% pots it, i think this should be a 1/3 at most, on this dry flop.. or even a check with marginal made hand and only a gs?
villain repops it for pot, i think it should be a fold here, again marginal made hand marginal draw. hero calls
turn is A
POT IS 31$ EFFECTIVE STACKS 100$
VILLAIN pots. as played, i think this is a call? we have double blocker to the straight, and top two blocked. its questionable if even spazzy whale would be blasting mid/low set this hard ?
hero calls,
river is J
and villain puts dad all in by betting exactly 70$ into 94$ pot, with our 69.90$ behind.
so now villains line makes no sense, at this point hes repping QK? ... an ambitious 25 that we double block?
do we call this FOS line or just assume hes REALLY overvaluing something, or that our blockers actually dont mean sh*t?
