Unsure on first one but I'd flat because we probably want big cards to 3-bet this shallow and against two.

Second one's just an easy fold.

first one has to be a flat. we're not folding but 3betting isn't great vs short stack+fish

second i would just muck this hand even vs just btn open but that's on the tight side i guess?

first one can be either flat or fold. you are finishing the action so you get see a flop. not the greatest possibilities tho / can put you in some dicey spots - you have to hit the flop hard if you do flat

second one is an easy lay down. action isn't finished if you call and you basically have to fluke a nut hand here (quads, top end of straight with a rainbow board) on the flop to be remotely confident.

2nd hand ... I understand if CO limp/3bet and BTN 4bets we should fold, but I'm just not folding a 9 high perfect rundown for a single raise.
To be fair I'm probably calling again if CO 3bets and BTN calls, which is a bigger problem.

First is clear fold at 100bb. Pretty snug squeeze spot, imo.
Absent some read on utg having more to fold and folding more than he should, hard to imagine being short makes it an attractive addition.

Second much wider squeeze spot than first but just fold this combo. Use T875ds here tho.

Squeezes vary significantly and depend *mostly* on the opener. We squeeze tightest vs UTG open. The ccer being SB and whale merits a slightly wider squeeze than if solid HJ, for sure. But we're still starting from a baseline of about 5% frequency. Being 4bet really sucks.
