Hi all,

1/2 PLO5. Hero opens AdKcQxTc7x EP and six callers. $1,000 eff.

Flop ($90): KdTd9s. Good reg in SB donks pot, folds to hero who calls with naked Ad, gutshot to broadway, and top two. Hero has tight image with this V. HU.

Turn ($270): 4c. V $270, hero calls. River bricked and hero folded but otherwise OK to bluff diamonds and obviously if we get there with Kx/Tx/Jx? If we make our blush, boat, or straight, what sizing ott? Otr?

Thanks,
DT

Do you call this without the A?

I've seen players do this kind of thing, and sometimes it works but it always feels very optimistic. I've lost count of the number of times I've had like AKKQ and villain just shrugged and shoved pot into me when diamonds hit. Even facing a check it's not like you always get folds. Then you have to worry about hitting J. Much prefer to wait until we have Q7 instead.

Also villain with bare nuts should be worried about KK at least as much as Ax.

For inky/anyone: If it's easy to find out it'd be cool to know if robots do call some hands differently if they have a nut blocker which they can bluff later, and how low that frequency is.

Probably a fold pre.

Flop call is fine, but I'd fold turn. Sizing is too much.

Yes of course bluff if flush hits.

All of what inky said. Pre without nut flush draw and a tri-suit is quite bad.

Honestly even a tight fold on flop vs solid player and bunch of players left to act might be better.

Definitely not calling without nut blocker, and definitely not against most Vs. Just against good ones (like this V) who give me lots of credit. This was one of the first times I called with the blocker to bluff later streets; I normally let it go, but there were other reasons to call this time (some real equity and right V).

Do we psb all good turns/rivers for our hand, or smaller?

Why do you play this type of hand in such a loose game? There are so few non Ace high suited hands I'd open here.

Sadly, you're not playing a HU pot. I think it's a significantly losing call given you have what seems like 4 people behind.

No V donked and I was closing the action. It was definitely folded to me. I agree this is a terrible call with people left to
act. I am off by a couple positions on my open in retrospect. He was two seats to my left. Maybe the straddle was on or something. I wrote this at 3:30am after my session and was pretty tired.
