brief explanation of the KJ54ds hand:

after losing some stacks, zoja, now in monkey-spew-mode, tries to spew some more stacks. Coming to the end of the session, the dopamine rush he's now expiriencing is truly godlike (remember: PLO Heater will get you more addicted than the best Coke) and he immediatly gets ready to, once more, destroy all the 10/25 low-level beta-male worms. Skipping through the hands in HM2, looking at all the stacks spewed away he finally found the one hand, that he can sell as a genius-play.

Don't you mean our flush draws...maybe you misread but we don't have a flush on the flop. And so yeah, we are checking some of our non-nut FD's on the flop. Not all the time, but certainly some of it - particularly Q high with no other backup.

As for villain calling raise... i mean, that doesn't mean our bluff raise was bad. He could still def. be calling turn to fold a blank river with this low of a flush. He could also be planning to bluff raise paired rivers... which is, well what he did. And very much justifying our turn raise with a hand that isn't going to be bluffed out on some paired rivers.

I'm not saying we should donk flop. I'm saying if the action was such that we'd bet flop, I like x/r turn much more as it's then more believable. Given flop checks through I'd expect us to be leading a lot of our flushes, and I'd probably lead this hand too given it has the blocker outs from flushes and some showdown value that doesn't really want to x/c.

x/r feels weird because it means we have to be giving free cards a bunch when we hit the nut flush. I mean maybe there's some meta going on where hero is x/r flop a lot or stabbing turn with air, so villain checks back flop with a lot more flush draws than he normally would ... but, again, that doesn't make me think villain is just going to bet/fold a lot of flushes on the turn.

I agree. Again, this was more of a trolly comment on the supposed god like reads which make A997 a good bluff raise on KQ6r.

Sure, he did that and without an A so wtf do I know ... but it seems pretty bad if he was planning on folding blank rivers.

It was fun in the beginning sharing with you. I could keep myself motivated til some PLO10/25 guys came and dared to talk to me. Thats when I realized Im just wasting energy on sheep.

You should try that method its great. Just delete your losses from your database, thats how I moved from PLO50 to PLO2500 in 1 month

Thats the essence. True skill comes without effort, its like a wave which carries you. If you have to study like crazy you are not a true master. Thats most likely the reason that those "pro's" cant finish the micro stakes challenge for over a year, which I did in two weeks btw
