PLO100 - 4 players

UTG - 100bb
BU - 100bb
SB - 110bb
Hero - 110bb

Hero A A 9 3

UTG calls, BU calls, SB raises to 5bb, Hero raises to 15bb, fold, fold

Flop (32bb) 6 7 J

SB check, Hero ? (95bb left)

Std situation maybe.

UTG fish, BU tag reg
SB a good reg, maybe a bit more aggro than average regs

Preflop is a std 3bet ip with not great AAxx (one suited but very disconnected and low side cards).

Flop SPR 3.
Not sure that SB would raises preflop very wide vs all the table.
So this 67J flop is not smashing a lot with his raising range (even if some 89TJ-like hands are here.

Moreover I'm blocking A (and NFD so), he may not be very gamblish as he is not nutflushdrawing

SPR is 3, I need value/protection and we're HU.
Just pot/call ?

What would be a std reg c/r range from SB ? and a c/c range ?

I would bet 1/2pot and fold to a raise.Std reg c/r range can include beside some made hands majority of strong draws, like wrap+fd or pair+fd.Check calling bare straight draws, top pair+some backdoors or similar.

I agree. You have only a overpair with no redraws so bet and hope your opponent folds. HU, with an SPR of 3, your A blocker is of little value. Your blocker is more valuable in high SPR situations.

Blocker is relevant in that villain can't have NFD (which would happen quite a lot if we didn't have the blocker)

b/f somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 pot sizing.

I think bet folding is the best option because you give the villain the opportunity of making the mistake of folding his equity if its marginal and if he jams your probably in pretty bad shape.

If they have any sort of decent connection with that board you are in rough shape.

You are 35/65 dog to pair plus fd
pair+oesd you are 43/56 dog
Against a Jack you are 46/64 dog

So the really all you can do is hope they fold to your bet. It would be good to know how they play kings because its really the only hand you beat. If they have kings with a flush draw its even money

Bet half pot. Fold to jam. You will see this a lot when you block the nut flush draw; betting becomes infinitely better as you block their continues/bluffs and give you turn options, and then you can fold to a raise as you have one of the worse combos after you bet and face a raise.
