Been playing for 1 year now online @ Stars & Ignition micros up to 25ploand have had big success especially on Ignition as it is hella soft.
Been playing Holdem for 3 years, but a year ago realised it was not my game as it is such a long grind some days where as plo is high action. Also, average plo player is terrible in my mind where as an average holdem player knows A9o is a fold utg.

I have a $10K bankroll mixed with my liferoll, the smallest game @ my local casino is 1/3, $300 max plo. I want to play it asap as if plo is same as holdem then live will also be softer than online, meaning players are even MORE terrible, should i start taking stabs with half buy ins with my roll? or wait till i have at least $20k? Given my comfortable bankroll at plo is 50 buy ins and my liferoll and bankroll are mixed. Should i buy in for 50BB stacks?

I would said go for it, if your local casino is anything like mine it's 1/3 $500 max. Game should be beyond soft, just be prepared for how wide people's preflop calling range are, and try not to Tilt will be the hardest part.

Can confirm small stakes casino PLO games are the nut low in terms of average skill level. If you believe you have an edge from studying and playing PLO online buy in for maximum and play your game.

One small thing to consider, you may be used to playing 6max, most casinos make PLO full ring to squeeze in more players paying rake/ time charge and whatever else, so be prepared to make some 6max > full ring adjustments

Live full ring PLO is one of the most tilting games on earth. I played live 6max PLO and it was a little better, but those games are few and far between here.

Live full ring PLO is prob one of the best games after a few adjustments if your mental game is strong.

You have to make many adjustments to play successful live PLO. There will be more limping and limp/calling, limp/raising going on. There is more multiwaypots and you have to avoid to play big pots oop with no-nuts hands because you get more caller and you get no one to fold. Player play more weak passiv overall and call more against pot odds with junk hands. You can play only the nuts and be still profitable but at a fullring game it is very boring.. You bankroll have to be big at least 50 buy ins.
I was try to play with 10 buy ins in my local casino 5-5€..It works for a while but you can lose few buy ins very quickly and get suck out here and there...
Like above you mental game has to be strong enough to not get on tilt because of the bad players there, who think they are the best.
The most funny thing is the table talk...Dont give a sh.. and avoid any discussion about hands and strategy with live people..The most people have no clue and talking **** every day. Be sure you can ignore all this and keep focus on your game.

+1

I would only add that one should buy in short, press your big hands to generate a low SPR so you can gii. Be prepared for variance because the low hands/hr make players want to gamble.
