like i made 2600 the other month on bodog. i make 500 from 50-150 all the time.. enough to make it worth it. i get to 3.5 5k and its time to run donkaments on 1 and 2 dollar and .50 1.00 zoom. it never works for me. if i cashed out the last few years, id be dominating low stakes PLO on party and stars. i crush 6 ring, non-zoom to be clear. the jump to 1 and 2 is huge and if you can afford to make a few hundred here and there, 50 1.00 is worth it. its easy to max extract at that level.

the ecology gets a lot worse as you move up, not only are there fewer fish but the regs get a lot better as well. still you can find good games all the way up to the nosebleeds if you select properly and play across a variety of mediums. also it might be that you are cool and collected when playing for $50 or $100 but the money affects you more as you play for higher stakes.

Peter Principle:
"An employee is promoted based on their success in previous jobs until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent, as skills in one job do not necessarily translate to another."

If you can't beat the higher stakes, it has everything to do with your skill level. So either you commit to improving your game and realize that the decisions and moves you make at the lower limits don't translate into profit at the higher, or accept that you have no desire to get better in order to beat the higher limits and keep making the money you are at the lower limits.

Sounds like you've committed to staying where you are, nothing wrong with that. Making money and having fun is way better than losing money and hating poker, especially if this isn't your primary source of income.

So, you have problems beating the 200? Bodog is then probably a pretty easy place. That would generally translate into 25 and 50, not 100, and that is probably true. About higher knowledge, I think I have it pretty much, but it is a long way to make it a reality.
