Following situation. Original raiser is with session VPIP 99 and PFR 61. Actual raiser seems to be tough standard reg.

How should I think that flop?

SB: $107.58 (430.3 bb)
Hero (BB): $56.65 (226.6 bb)
UTG: $33.56 (134.2 bb)
MP: $7.53 (30.1 bb)
CO: $120.47 (481.9 bb) Session maniac 99/65
BTN: $25 (100 bb) Tough reg

Preflop: Hero is BB with A Q A T
2 folds, CO raises to $0.85, BTN calls $0.85, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.50, CO calls $2.65, BTN calls $2.65

Flop: ($10.60) J 4 5 (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, BTN bets $5.08

Our backdoors I think are strong enough and our value vs the maniac is high enough that I probably just bet on flop. Probably a bet/fold vs maniac (due to stack depth) and a bet/call vs button, where we're basically committed. Its tricky though especially if maniac is a postflop maniac as well as pre. If that's the case, yeah we probably have to check to avoid a flop raise.

As played, call flop. Lots of turns will be uncomfortable but we have too much backdoor equity to fold and its easily possible button is value-betting thin vs the maniac and will shut down on a lot of turns.
