Hey guys the tournament was plo/plo8/bigo. We were on the PLO phase. Everyone was playing fast and loose, I saw all sorts of funky holdings at showdown in raised pots.

200/400 PLO
Hero has 13000 left from 20000 starting stack
UTG+1 limps, MP limps, CO who has raised pre about 50% of the time makes it 2000 to go, SB calls, hero in BB looks down at A

and...?

I fully expected the two limpers to call based on previous table dynamics. Nobody had 3bet anyone yet pre and everyone kept calling the COs raises. Is this an ok spot to call with my hand or should I be letting it go? Thanks guys.

Looks trivial but I dont mind nitting it up and folding. 4 more bigs to us is significant. We're OOP vs 3 players potentially with the only thing really going for us being A suited. I dont think flatting is a mistake necessarily. I just think there are much better spots (stronger hand, better position).

No antes??? Hand is Garbo and is an easy fold without antes. Even with antes it’s meh

Should preserve chip stack and shove it in with kkxx or AAxx or a suited run down

I’m no tourney expert and chipping up early in these tourneys is huge but I would still like a better hand. Seems like a pretty big crap shoot

I think its ok to call these hands if you are closing the action or pot can't be reopened. In this case, despite the read, I think its a standard fold due to limpers left to act.

AK63ss doesn't have many big flops. Lack of connectivity, true high card strength, and double suitedness will make equity realization difficult - it will have a lot of ghost equity. I might open it on the button or something. Calling an ISO out of the BB with this poor of a starting hand doesn't seem good.

To play big multiway pots, look for more high double suitedness, and strong nutted connectivity.

Almost definitely best to just fold this combo.

It's a tournament: the chips you already have are more valuable than the chips you stand to gain.

And this is a weak, speculative hand with you not closing the action or having enough chips to make the implied odds worth the risk.

I hate call, prefer raise or fold pre, and you need specific reasoning to justify raise with a pretty mediocre holding.

Very clear fold. In plo tournies, especially w/o antes in play you want a much tighter range than cash. With limps you don't close action, and hand performs very poorly post. The only thing you hand has going for it is a nut flush draw.
