You are looking at only 4 outs to improve on second board. Villain could easily be ahead with more outs on your board, or in some cases the same straight. Without positional advantage and given low probability of villain folding we want to keep pot size smaller.

You're getting outscooped ~2:3 by any two spades so I wouldn't bet for value based on that quick range estimate. Also doesn't sound like someone who will fold much that we want him to.

This is weird. Replies are almost assuming villain has J8:ss, which seems ... unlikely, esp. with the Js dead. BTN had 100% range pre flop. Seems much more likely that we have more outs to scoop, and can easily be on a freeroll. Worst card on top board is the 8 which helps us on the bottom.

Is everyone really just snap folding everything on the flop?

I mean I do understand that if we pot and get pot raised, we are in a bad spot where we are looking at putting 1300bb in or hero folding but ... lol, giant stacks in live PLO with 8 people doing 5bb double board bomb pots ... be prepared for **** to get crazy.

I'm kind of interested to know if robots would almost never bet, or be regularly having 8k pots ... but I'm assuming nobody has sims to that do double boards.
