Common preflop spot at these stakes:

More or less unknown, likely rec pots CO, I'm in the BTN with 7 5 7 6 and behind me are two spazztards who basically have been 3betting close to any hand with confirmed total garbage, never folded before the flop and have been battling each other big time.

Am I correct in that we just need to fold this? The value in this hand lies in getting it HU. I'd very often consider 3betting this in these positions but since I'll hardly ever get it HU, no matter whether I call or 3bet and its multiway value sucks, I suppose I need to just fold?!

What if we had lets say T986 ds?

Which would you rather call a 4 bet with, 7765ds or T986ds?

Interesting spot. You have not added stack sizes which I think is a major influence on how to proceed - I can see three-betting, calling with the intent to call a three-bet, calling with the intent to four-bet... I never fold this though. And against two players I do not really mind getting it in preflop either, at least not with 100 BB stacks.

Sorry, I couldn't export this hand from MGM cause I didn't VPIP in the end. AFAIR stacks where ~100BBs deep for everyone. Just to clarify: The blinds didn't 3b/4b and gii with literally any4 but they still had ridiulously wide ranges. I remember having seen one of them showing down sth like 9642 ss for a 3b pre.

Still though, vs two 40% ranges, I pretty much have exactly 34% equity with the hand above. Doesn't seem like a big enough edge to compensate for the huge variance involved, especially since I'm not a mass grinder at all.

Call, super easy to play post flop against two maniacs who most likely will be overplaying any overpair.

This is very bad presumption.

Maniacs are likely to have aq39, kt22,338j,just to name few hands that

maniac stack me in these few days.

Second part that they will overplay the hand is correct,if they have any

flush draw, straight draw money goes in.That`s why is better to have some

more nutty hands against multiple opponents than 5677ds,although

it`s really tempting to call i think you made good fold.

I don't get most comments in this thread tbh. How is this hand easy to play postflop when it will basically always end up multiway and in quite often bloated pots? Sure, sometimes we flop a set with a FD but most of the time we will flop weak and non-nutted 2way draws facing tons of action. I actually think these spots suck really hard.

And given that, why should we be encouraged to play a hand that's not even in the top50% percentile in hot n cold equity? As Puravic pointed out, I think we should be looking to play hands with more nut equity which are able to get a ton of money in preflop and/or either nail or miss the flop. Neither holds for this hand?!

Given the table dynamic described it sounds like a fine fold, if you could see a flop for something like 15% of your total stack that doesn't sound awful but when you might be forced into playing bigger you can just buckle up and wait for better hands

T986ds would not be a fold.

If a whale is raising me and I have T986ds I am shipping it.

7756ds isn't a standard 3bet on the button.

7765ds is a fold pre in that spot even on the button. T986ds can go either way call / 3bet
