After playing this hand, I thought, I took a very weak/passive line and was wondering how I could play this and similar spots better in the future. Suggestions welcome:

Villain is unknown to me, going by his stacksize and preflop action, I'm assuming that he plays too many hands, calls too much, bluffs to little and only bets (what he thinks are) very strong hands. Usually sets+.

PokerStars Zoom, Omaha Pot Limit - $0.02/$0.05 - 6 players
Replay this hand on Upswing Poker

(UTG): $5.23 (105 bb)
(MP): $6.16 (123 bb)
(CO): $5.80 (116 bb)
Villain (BU): $4.83 (97 bb)
(SB): $6.85 (137 bb)
Hero (BB): $14.04 (281 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with T 9 3 5
3 players fold, Villain (BU) calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero (BB) checks

Flop: ($0.12) 7 6 4 (2 players)
Hero (BB) checks, Villain (BU) bets $0.12, Hero (BB) calls $0.12

Turn: ($0.36) 9 (2 players)
Hero(BB) checks, Villain (BU) checks

River: ($0.36) Q (2 players)
Hero (BB) checks, Villain (BU) checks

Total pot: $0.36 (Rake: $0.01)

Showdown:
Villain (BU) mucks 2 6 4 4 (three of a kind, Fours)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 47%, Flop: 38%, Turn: 20%, River: 0%)

Hero (BB) shows T 9 3 5 (a straight, Three to Seven)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 53%, Flop: 62%, Turn: 80%, River: 100%)

Hero (BB) wins $0.35

My own idea:
Lead flop and bet/fold most turns, population will announce, if they have outdrawn my straight by a big raise. Also getting more value from flushdraws, sets and the occasional overpair that doesn't want to fold.

It's HU in a limp pot vs. the BTN, and you only have 100bb ... this is not like having the 2nd nuts no redraw in a multiway pot deep. You also have a redraw with an 8.

Betting or x/r are both valid, I'd expect most villains to bet a lot of flush draws here and will treat a lot of worse hands as the nuts so without reads (Eg. this one) I'm not folding much. There are a lot of blank turn cards too, T765/spades is only like 1/3 of the deck (if he has T8 on turn gg) ... and a lot of those should help your range when you x/r, so it's not like villain can just bet anything if you check.

I'd make a note that villain didn't bet turn or river, and I guess that he limped button with this garbage.

Look, I am very sorry, if the thread title offended you and I wasted your time. Unfortunately, it is not possible to edit the title.

This topic I opened, not so much because of the particular hand, but rather because I am looking for advice in situations, where I have a pretty strong hand (in terms of absolute hand strength), but the hand is vulnerable and a lot of runouts change that absolute handstrength quite a lot. Obviously, I played it bad and thought it was a good example of my mistakes.

In spots where I think my nut hand is really vulnerable, I'll consider stack sizes, player aggression, and whether the turn improves that player's range. I know you don't have the nuts here, but let's say you did. I'd be looking for actions where I get a chance to make a pot raise-bet and minimize bad river impact.

FWIW, I'm leading flop and betting turn.
