Hero $1100 - hasn't been too active because i've been getting horrible card distribution. Have won very few show downs but did manage to bluff a big pot when the river was bad for villain.

Villain - $1200 - Got it in pre with 99JQK ds 3 ways and scooped. He hit a miracle 9 on the river to make a boat. Plays decent, but this hand was a little loose imo. He has potted pre a few times so i'm sure he is wider than just AA

I have some good backdoors if a turn like a 4678 comes and Q gives me the nuts. I do have spades as well but not very good ones. Probably just a spot I get into trouble with. Also Pre is meh but figured it's a fine open in CO or HJ

The problem is all your "good" turn cards to give you a good draw are going to look like blanks and he's very likely to bet pot again with whatever he has and your "current big draw" is pretty obvious (or, even worse, dominated) ... PPT has you with 42% equity vs. a 10% pre. range and 45% against a 30% range, but you are out of position and are looking to x/c or x/f turn.

The marginal hand comment was more about how our hand looks after the flop (although I did see someone say that a 6, and even 7, in rundowns is much worse in 5c).

I probably even play this hand, with the read on us and BTN I'm more likely to limp to control the pot.

i'd fold the flop, all we have is a gutty and seven high spades oop
