Probably not a good idea to bluff this guy in particular

I’d give up river unless you’d valuebet 89 or TT for pot there. There’s v few hands you have that want to pot river as hand played out. Giving up on bad runouts is important.

we don't have enough backup to comfortably bet turn (very few amazing river cards where we know exactly what to do except the hearts) that I check back turn unless I have a read that turn the street villain gives up on the most

your river bet isn't really consistent with your play on previous streets

I think i'm not raising this flop, we have nothing going on besides the NFD. As played shutting down turn as we def. don't want to get potted there and this board is wet AF.
As played yeah i mean you have Ah a lot of the time and you can try repping AQ on the river, but doing that against dudes like this is burning money. His flop and turn are terrible, but guess he has to call the river now since both FDs bricked and he blocks 89 and AQ. + in vacuum players most likely aren't valuebetting sets there, so yeah.

I don't like the raise on the flop. Am I wrong for thinking so passive?
We're deep and raising narrows his range down and we're never happy if villain re-raises.

As played, I'm checking back turn as it hits villain's leading range and our 9 blocker is not enough, imo.

Simple answer: yes.

Little value to flop raise or turn barrel. Use your position and nuttiness.
