6max. 50 PLO

UTG 200BB - seems solid
CO 100BB - no reads
BTN (me) 150BB.

A789ds

UTG opens, CO calls. I 3b. They call.

Flop 6s 9s Qc - none of my suits. checks through

Turn 2h - UTG bets close to 20 into 24, CO folds, I call

River 6s 9s Qc 2h Td - UTG pots 50ish, which is for entirety of my stack.

OK so I think most of hand seems pretty standard. Think it's a pretty standard call OTR but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

What I'm most interested in is discussing what he is repping and the hand combos that got there from the turn. And also what my hand looks like.

- What's my perceived range look like to most people once i check flop but call turn? Never really any flush draws but mostly AA and sometimes KK that was afraid to bet the flop?

- Value-wise do we ever think the average villain is doing this with anything less than a straight? i.e. a set going for thinnish value. I feel like 2ps/sets are probably going for free showdown since my hand looks a lot like AA/KK, and likely folding to a river bet anyway. There shouldn't be any need for him to turn those hands into bluffs.

- Bluffs-wise I feel like because my hand looks like AA/KK, and occasionally 3456-ish type hands. If he is running something here then maybe some KK, JJ hands, or something like As*s** that missed completely? I'm having a hard time thinking of many hands that have absolutely nothing by the turn.

- He's basically repping a straight for the most part, right? So something like QTJK, QKJ8, some J8 combos like J8Tx or J87x? and i suppose sometimes a set/2p combo with a straight draw got there too. So like QQJ8, QQKJ, 99J8, 6678, Q98J, KQ9J, and 6789. And also on occasion KKJx with a FD.

thoughts? thanks

If you chased this I think you have to call. I think folding turn is how I would play.

What makes you think turn call is at all standard? You have a bad SD (in multiple ways - only 1 way to nuts and many cards could be dead bc of flush) and 2nd pair 3 way facing a big bet.

fair points. at the time i didn't really consider it that much of a chase though considering his bet folded out CO and i had decent visibility on many rivers.

i was thinking a non-flush A, any 9, and three 5's would make my hand fairly easy to play. only the T would put me in some weird spots, and even if a flush hit on my key cards, some of the time villain gives me free showdown.
