PokerStars - $0.02 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $2.00 (VPIP: 16.67, PFR: 8.33, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 13)
SB: $3.99 (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 1)
Hero (BB): $3.11
UTG: $4.64 (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 15.63, 3Bet Preflop: 13.33, Hands: 32)
MP: $1.43 (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
CO: $2.25 (VPIP: 10.26, PFR: 7.69, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 41)

SB posts SB $0.01, Hero posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has T A 9 J

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB calls $0.01, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.04

I presume this is pretty standard

Flop: ($0.12, 2 players) 5 8 7
SB checks, Hero bets $0.08, SB raises to $0.36

For the most part so far I've been using purely exploitative post-flop sizing, figuring that I can probably get away with it at this level (big bet for a big hand, smaller bet for a smaller hand).
  1. Should I be c-betting larger here or even check/calling?
  2. Should I be calling the c/r in this spot with my 10 non-heart straight outs?
  3. If no, would it be a call if I had the J instead of the J ?
  4. If I had the 6 instead of the 10 would that be enough to get it in here?

you block a 9, which is the only reason in favor for a cbet here. but you will get called a lot on this board, so my decision whether to c/call or cbet depends on how the opponent plays. if he likes to call a lot, then I would just check/call since fold equity is really low and your hand isn't that great. against an unknown player in plo2z I think I would bet too since getting raised shouldn't happen that often.

you are kind of deep so I guess you can call 28c on the flop and see a turn. if he has 96, there are cards that could stop the action so you could see the river or you could just hit the nuts.

1. we can not xc IP. I definitely like cbettting and I would size a little bigger like $.10 to reflect the fact that we are not cbetting this board very often, and our VR is nuttyish.
2. no
3. yes
4. yes, although it's also fine to call and see a turn

1. I would probably just click "pot", as I would with any hands I play on this board.
2. No. I would be tempted to re-pot it. If he pushes we still have almost 40% against a reasonable range. Folding feels too weak.
3. No, it would be a pot-sized re-raise.
4. Yes.
