Hero SB ($1500): image is likely loose, aggressive, and bad. Have three bet more than most and have shown down some holdings such as 8543 double suited that have won that some players have made remarks about.

V1 UTG +1 ($600): Loose and likes to call, not aggressive, calls almost any draw, got it AI for $500 vs hero with a OESD and top pair

V2 UTG + 3 ($500): Loose and semi aggressive, but more angrily so. Calls draws and is ok putting all his chips in on draws as well

V3 HJ (Covers): Tight, aggressive, has only shown down winners while Hero has been here. Raises and has got it AI with top set, NFD + pair + straight draw, and flopped straight. Has not shown himself to get out of line.

Game is 2-3 PLO, bring in is 5.
Hero has 9c7c7d6h

3 limps, hero completes, BB completes ($25)

9s7s3d

Hero bets $20, V1 and V2 call, V3 raises to $85, we?

I don't play too much PLO, mostly hold em, so I'm a little torn. Obviously our hand is strong and we block top set, but we are behind a wrap + fd and maybe even to a FD + straight draw. If I raise and V3 pots it again I'm going to feel a little uncomfortable as I believe his range is limited to FD+ straight draw or wrap and top/bottom sets.

At the same time with the two calling stations in V1 and V2 there will likely be a lot of dead money in the pot and trying to get more money in right now seems prudent, especially if it traps them in the middle.

I can see calling, potting, and reraising smaller (say, 200, so we have some wiggle room if he pots again).

Am I just being MUBSY here? Obviously we have a strong hand but I feel a little handicapped with my PLO unfamiliarity. Playing a 700bb pot with middle set and 2 cards to come sounds like trouble.

between two callers and 1 re-raiser you are obviously up against mostly FD's and SD's, you are also unblocking spades so you probably have some implied removal on your side: your opponents holdings likely block each other's to some extent. your 6 is also worth a little something, blocking a low straight out

the downside is that you are blocking one of your good outs (9), and between three opponents who limped pre there is likely another 9 or 3 out of the dekc.

i think calling to pot control, and re-raising light are great options (even to 120 depending on how sticky the callers are). between two callers and a re-raiser you know some of those wrap/flush outs are removed, and the dead money makes a light re-raise an attractive option. since you are OOP, getting those callers out of the pot also helps to prevent situations where they could raise and make you indifferent on future streets

at this point in the hand you are up against three opponents who are banking future streets/draws, but your hand is good NOW, and i think there is merit to raising lite and clearing them out because this option likely costs less than calling across multiple streets of escalating betting, and if V3 has Th8hxx and rips it in you will be able to escape with minimal losses
