and call. Pot HU.

What do you feel BTN's value range is here given he's got a capped range OTF? And there shouldn't be too many hands that all of a sudden favored the Qd turn that could also pot the river?

HU he should be betting a lot of his hands that contain flush draws on the flop, especially this flop. I can see him turning QQ/QT with a flush draw but those hands should bet also. Hard to say. I'd prob hero call and take a note.

Villain can definitely have spades here imo, board is somewhat better for a wide BB defending range so he could definitely be realising equity in position by having a decent number of checks with some weaker hands and draws that can't continue vs a X/r.

I think I prefer betting the turn myself. As played, well how aggressive is he, is he the type of player who will bet turn with any4 after you checked twice or not? And can he turn a made hand into a bluff? If not, or, probably not, I would fold.

I suggest you think about why you called the turn bet. You don't have direct odds to hit the nuts, and I see you having a tough time bluffing any river that you miss.

It's an additional benefit that makes the wrap worth calling with. It's not the entirety of the value of the hand.

i feel he could check behind allot of non spade hands that have showdown value so what is his bluffing range? J98x with no spades, KQxx with the Ks...

i don't think you are wining often enough... most likely he has a flush that decided to semi bluff the turn because you checked and/or picked up additional straight outs with the Q

heads up we should continue on the turn. we have a number of nut outs, can make three tens ace kicker, and our non nut straight outs (that complete a flush) might be good. it is heads up so villain could be betting quite liberally. all our straight outs are for the nut straight.
