Preflop: (1.5 bb, 5 players) HJ folds, CO folds, Hero raises to 3 bb, SB reraises to 10 bb, BB folds, Hero calls
Flop: (21 bb in pot, 2 players) 9 7 J
SPR = ~2.3
SB check, Hero check
Turn: (21 bb in pot, 2 players) 9 7 J 8
SB check, Hero bets 10 bb, SB calls
River: (41 bb in pot) 9 7 J 8 Q
SPR = 1
SB checks, Hero checks
Spoiler:
SB shows A A 5 2 for pair of Aces
Hero wins with Q's and 7's two-pair woot
My thought process:
Preflop > It's close. I think if it had been "bad" double-suited (where the 7 is the high card for one of the suits e.g. K Q 7 4) I would have folded.
[PLO Matrix check for rfi from BTN with 50 bb > raise call "good" KQ74/ds, fold "bad" KQ74/ds]
I do a 3x raise instead of my normal pot raise because it's a tournament, and sizing down preflop raises seems to be a thing to do in tournaments? (The chips you have are more valuable than the chips you could win)
When SB 3-bets me, I feel sad and briefly consider folding, but the double-suit makes me think calling is the right move.
Flop > Bottom pair and a gutshot on a straight board with two-of-a-suit. I don't have any backdoor flush draw, and I don't have any blocker to the straights.
Not a great flop for me, and I'm ready to fold to any bet. When villain checks, I'm thinking they could have a big pair and the board looks scary from their perspective. I really consider putting a bet out, but I'm scared by all the draws there are, and while my hand is weak, it does have the gutshot and outs to two-pair/trips that would benefit from a free card. I check behind.
Turn > The turn puts 4-to-a-straight on the board and a 2nd flush draw. When SB checks, it feels like they're asking me to take the pot from them. I bet, representing the straight or at least two-pair.
River > Q-diamond gives me top-and-bottom-pair but also puts flush on board. When SB checks, I check, thinking my hand has showdown value, I'm not getting called by anything worse, and I'm not folding out a flush or straight.
Overall I think I played this alright. My preflop raise may have been a little loose, and I think I should have sized my turn bet just a little bigger given the two flush draws.
An argument could be made that I should've put a bet out on the flop, given that it hits my range a lot more than the SB 3-bettor. But I had zero blockers, so felt risky.
I 2.5x the button in tournaments preflop unless the effective stacks are deep enough for cash strategy or too short for 2.5bb to be appealing for reasons I won't get into since we're 60bb effective (which is far from said "too short" territory).
I might fold preflop just because of tournament considerations, but I don't think calling is a mistake.
I think betting flop is better than betting turn but we may just want to x-x-x. I prefer betting flop because it's a much clearer bet/fold spot for our range. We don't have great blockers, but it's okay to find some flop bets that aren't blocker-driven.
Conversely, OTT, we just unblock all sorts of continues and I'm just trying to realize my minimal equity at that point.

What stack threshold do you consider deep enough to revert to cash game sizing? 80 bb? 100?
