Global Poker, PLO $10 MTT, 6-player max

Effective stacks: 40bb

Hero is SB with K T 9 9

Preflop: (1.5 bb, 6 players)
fold to hero, Hero raises to 3 bb, BB calls

Flop: (pot is 6 bb, 2 players) A 3 7

Hero bets 4 bb, BB calls

Turn: (pot is 16 bb, 2 players) A 3 7 Q
Hero SPR is 2.3

Hero checks, BB bets 10bb, Hero folds

My thought process:

Preflop > Standard raise. Do I fold if 3-bet?

Flop > For a missed flop, it's not terrible. Rainbow and not very connected so BB not likely to have good draws. I bet representing Axxx, trying to fold any non-Ace hands. If my opponent calls, I'll give them credit for Axxx and pretty much give up unless I turn flush draw, straight draw or set.

Turn > Now I have a gutshot but it's pretty much a brick. Check-fold feels right.

Not super exciting and apologies if this is super standard play, but I don't know my leaks if I don't ask. Thanks in advance.

Preflop seems like an RFI/call to me.

Flop seems good. It's important to find bluffs, and I don't see much reason not to turn this into one.

I think that there might be some version of this hand (higher SPR for one) where we could pot the turn, but I think villain's range will be pretty A-heavy so giving up is fine by me.

Edit: oh hey my 2000th post
