River seems like a super clear fold. Flop and turn up for debate.

Agree upon review River is clear fold.

Thought about betting flop, but if we get c/r with no straight blockers or and best case even vs. pair + FD shove I felt it was -EV play.

@Yasuo Do you call flop if we cbet and get raised?

Not sure I'm 4betting this based on position or image. Sexy looking hand but marginal and gets you into marginal spots. Generally opponents at the lower limits know very little about your image or perceived tendencies no matter how much you think they do.

Checking the flop is fine, we can't cbet all our hands that connect with boards or we play face up and the flop is dangerous. I'm ok with a cbet as well as we can't just assume our opponent has FD or SD and if we get check raised thats just how it goes. Once again can't assume that we are going to get check raise bluffed in this spot by a tight opponent very often so just fold and move along.

Turn call is interesting. A half pot bet is either a ballsy steal attempt or we are flat out crushed and he wants value. Its a romantic idea to assume that we can hit the flush or boat up on the river but the board pairing negates our two pair if he has overs and if Villain is actually a thinking opponent he knows that you might now call with an overpair so his bet is well sized. I'm leaning towards we are crushed. Not saying I find a fold and probably call but I'm not happy about it.

River is a clear fold. Doesn't matter if he is bluffing this one time, calls of this size are just burning money in the long run. Even holding AAxx you're likely to get your *ss handed to your more often than is profitable to call.

Well played by Villain and I think you played it as well as you could given how the flop, turn and river came.

Preflop is... well, it's not bad, but I wouldn't do it most of the time. Doesn't need to be much stronger of a hand before I 4b close to 90% given specifics like having folded to a 3b previously, and stack depth.

The flop is a clear bet. Apart from the rare flopped set or straight with our sidecards, the strongest hand he expects us to have here is an overpair with a flush draw, sometimes with a gutshot. Given how aggressive he is, he's going to make a play at this board if you c-bet.

The river is a fold, because too few people pot as a bluff, and he's sometimes turning better hands than yours into bluffs. And he's just probably got you beat before he bets the river anyway.
