(1) Is flop a pretty standard bet/call with nut GS, nut FD? If I only had bare NFD with no other draws, is it a check to see a free turn?

(2) Given V's flop x/r raise is going to be very set/T6 heavy, is it better to jam turn to deny a cheap river card? My thoughts on flatting here is that I'm IP and can play rivers pretty perfectly. Also I thought there's a chance V might try turning his set into a bluff since he fired the flush-completing turn.

(1) Yes, bet call Gutshot+set outs with your 99. Check back Bare flush draw.

(2) Call turn unless you have a stone cold read that villain is setting a price for himself with a set by betting small on the turn. However, I believe villain can check raise lots of overpairs and flush combos and since you are last to act and betting after the entire field has checked, villain may be more inclined to believe your range can be weaker--you could just be stabbing because everyone has already checked and shown little interest.

No, all of our outs are to the nuts, if we hit, someone is almost always going to have a second best hand to pay us off. Let's check, if we hit the turn then so much the better, if we miss then we're happy not to have put any money in the pot.

We have a nice draw, but we're still a significant dog to improve on the turn. Going bet-call on the flop is a disaster. If you do bet it should be with the intent of stacking off in the hopes of catching an opponent with a draw. But live games play so passively this isn't likely to happen. We are last to act so can guarantee that we see a turn by checking, and it's five way, so the chance that someone smashed the flop harder than us is pretty good.

I'm just going to raise the turn myself. Villain is too far into the hand to fold a high flush or a set, and he'll probably shut down with two pair if he decided to bet the turn anyway. Villain c/r the flop with air is basically a negligible probability. Pot is huge so less merit to slow playing.

Everyone checked after UTG checked. No one is smashing anything.

@PokerPlayingGamble

I respect your opinion. If it goes, we bet, someone raises and another player raises then we're usually in a very bad spot having sacrificed a huge amount of our equity if we decide to fold.

I definitely do not raise turn with the nut flush. Do we ever get it in with a worse flush when we raise the turn?
