7 handed

tight passive image, only leading w the nuts or when villians play passive.

villian failed to bluff hero 2 hours earlier with naked A, exclaimed suprise when called w/o nut flush.

hero is 600 bbs deep and has villian barely covered.

hero: AA25 one suit in the bb

early limps, villian raises to 15, three callers and hero call, limper calls. 6 to flop.

a67 rainbow I check, limper checks, villian pots 95, others fold, hero calls, limper folds. 2 to turn.

4 turn brings flush draw. I check, villian pots 285, hero calls.

8 river misses flush. I check, villian pots 855, hero?

It's kind of hard to work out what hero's range is on the river, but I assume you have all the straights here. It's also hard to work out what villain is bluffing with, I guess 9876? But he should assume you're calling everything with a 5, so it's not like he blocks those hands with that. Everything else got there and I also doubt villain is value towning himself with 77. If we are calling here I much prefer x/shoving turn.

I hate this spot, since no reads are given on the villain except that he bluffed hero a few hours ago it is also hard to comment, I would lean towards a fold due to the fact that Villian should have a very narrow value range here and should probably not bluff three streets that often, but on the other hands, what the **** is villain supposed to have? Villian probably should not show up with too many 85 combos and will his T9 combos bomb the turn again? T98x will for sure. Would Villain really bluff flop into six players? Doubtful.

So what the **** is he supposed to have? I mean, the more I think of it, the more I feel that the hands that beat us are few, but does he have the balls to fire a 400BB third barrel with a missed draw? He should not do this for value with less than 85, with the exception for maybe a very thin 88xx (9887?) trying to represent a bluff and get paid by 77, but this seems extremely thin.

I guess it all boils down to live reads in the end, your passive play is an argument for a call though. FWIW, I probably raise the flop.

I would pot raise flop. There are 6 people in the pot,f**k balance and your tight image.

There would be 850 in the middle if he calls with 850 behind. You just pot turn which

would be standard with 5 blocker, and you would not need to even post this hand on

forum later. As played i would strongly consider c/raising turn,he could have a bunch of

89tx with flushdraw. On river i would fold and leave casino very tilted.

I would never lead the flop here. My feeling was he has money to lose and is trying to buy the pot. If he's got it he's got it, but I have to call on river as played, I think.

I never saw his hand but he said he had two pair when I asked as he was leaving.

side story: two guys came in and sat down on either side of me a few minutes later. It's a small room and I felt like the room noise let them know there was a fish at the table with 1300 bb to lose. The adrenaline rush had me tilted so I packed up and left. I doubt I'll ever win as big a hand again.

Easy fold on river. You're like bottom-ish of range. Check raise flop. 3b pre.
