NL player, just started learning PLO. Full disclaimer, I’m complete ass and have no idea what I’m doing lol. Have a hand that I played last week that I’d like feedback on. Pretty sure I misplayed every street.

1/2/5, 4-handed

Hero (600) with 7543ssxx in SB
BTN (800) open to 20, I call
BB (100) 3b to 65, BTN and I call

BB was pure donator, on 7th buyin and just going with random hands pre, definitely not KKxx/AAxx when he 3b here. Should I be folding here pre to the 20? I’ve read that low rundowns play decently well short handed/HU because it’s less likely my flush outs are dead.

Flop (195): Q92r (one spade)
I check, BB puts in last 35, BTN call
I call

Reasonable to call given dry board, getting 8.5-1? I can turn a good amount of equity.

Turn (300): 5s
I check, BTN bets 170
I call

Feel like I need to pot here given my BDFD and OESD. BTNs range pretty weak as well given he didn’t raise flop.

River (640): As
I jam 315

River gives me 7-high flush. Do I bet for value here, or just check hoping for showdown?

Can't unbutcher a hand once it's done and dusted OP.

Preflop this is a fold. This hand is extremely weak and does not play well 3 way. You're also out of position for the entire hand and will have to play a lot of very weak made hands and weak/ dominated draws with the least amount of information available per street. I might only play this hand defending the BB vs. Single BTN open.

Flop X/C for this sizing is fine with BDs & an amazing price to continue. But you can also argue for a fold here since your BDs are pretty weak & you have to play OOP as stated above

Turn call is fine also.

River can go either way, you want to check/ decide, allow villain to keep bluffing with bricked wrap combos which he may well do considering there is a decent side pot to contest vs. You. Leading is interesting because it may illicit some bluff catches with sets/ 2p. Either way it can be tough to get away from the backdoored flush here.

When you have someone who is reraising constantly you basically have to tighten up to as if the pot was already reraised in front of you to begin with. Fold pre.

I don't think potting the turn is really all that wise into a dry side pot. You can't win the main with your semi bluff, but you could get raised which would be disastrous. I'd just check fold.

Flop is kind of a cute spot, but I'd probably fold here again despite the great odds. All you have is backdoors.

Unbutcher the hand: fold 7 high oop preflop. There.

River is a check, there's no way you have enough bluffs in your range (unless you shove all of your TJ8xish hands every single time?). I mean, that's my thinking

Fold pre, check river.

fold pre

as played call the raise, you have decent equity against their range. Hope to smash low board, otherwise get out.

Guess you're priced in on the flop, but playing hands like this against LAG opponents will get you into tricky spots.
