Maybe I'd cbet 656r but with the clubs I think we just have to give up and check the whole way. Keep in mind when he checks back he probably has something of showdown value as well or else he'd be betting, so I don't like the river bet.

Yeah but instead of jj87 he could have had jj98 and this would have worked a good %.

To really understand this spot you just have to do solver analysis. What is treshold for bluffing, do we bluff all non SD value hands? What’s our weakest value bet? Try a few different rivers also.

What is the IP river call range? How does population deviate? How does their get to the river range deviate.

If you're not playing AcAx differently than this, you might consider it.

I think crimson has it right. There's some ev to be had here vs the pool but it'll take more than a forum question to tease it out. Fwiw I think your single 8 is a pretty thin reason to stab this river. But also shrug it can't be a big mistake once you're here.

I think bluffing the river is fine, but probably a larger sizing would be better. Villain isn't folding here so it doesn't matter.

I'm fine with flop and turn. We don't need to force it with this hand, especially since catching a high pair will often be good.

yeh agreed - I mean really the answer to every question is use a solver but then the forum wouldn't exist.

betting the turn seems more likely to work.

It is harder to believe you are making a value bet after skipping 2 chances to do it earlier.
