I dunno, I think its just random when the games are best to be honest. I played last night for a few hours and I think it was one of the juiciest times I can remember..

I mean, if you are moving to PLO100 level, you should definitely just stay at stars and make SN and potentially 200k vpp

Yeah, I just let go of the results...have to admit there was a bunch of times where I just bluffed off/put it in with 7% ott in 3bet pots, but thats plo

ps - I dont really play plo fulltime, I play mtts and only average like hour a day of rush mostly, that graph is over half year, you can definitely put in that volume over a month easily

Really? I always found the player pool to be way bigger on the weekend. Maybe more regs, but definitely more fish. Maybe things have changed... but yeah, agreed sometimes the games are super juicy. I just don't know, I feel like rush is more appealing to fish in general, so it took more of them away from ring games... so that is another reason I moved to stars.

I play mostly HU and then some ring games. I started with ring, but found the variance was way lower HU. So, I don't think id be able to ever get SN just playing HU. Which is why I was considering moving back to FT for the rb. Meh. Thanks for the info.

Do you mtt on stars, btw? I think the tournaments are better at stars

Weird... I've always heard the Rush games were worse. Standard argument seems to be that good players are tighter and make decisions more quickly than fish. So good players play more hands with other good players and fewer hands with fish. I thought they also lose their usual note-taking advantages, but maybe good regs are still note-taking to the same extent they would on normal tables.

Maybe that is true? I'm just saying what I've heard. And yeah, that is true, but sometimes the player pool is so small and you are stuck with a ton of regs who will just 3bet/call in position a ton. I think in ring games it is easier to see that regs are doing this and adjust accordingly. I really hated that I played 50plo rush at some times because the player pool was relatively small. I literally would always have to double barrel a reg as my std cbet because they never would fold otf when I was oop. plus meh, I feel like ring games are also softer because if you keep betting at a fish, they'll start going crazy and rr shove super light. Yesterday I played some guy on stars and he started out super solid... towards the end he was 3betting hands like 2335 pre and stacking off on 1098 boards. Sure, I know that is just one instance, but I'm just saying they get paranoid and start trying to outplay you/get it in lighter than they should.

When I'm feeling lazy/tilted, I just copy/paste "PLO-******" all over the place. If I'm feeling sharp, I just sit out and write a few lines, like "c/c 3 streets with naked overpair as PFR... PLO-******"

Def true about regs having to face other regs more frequently, also because the fish are usually just single-tabling. But I think Rush mobile will start attracting more fish in the future and hopefully FTP realizes how insane the traffic wa during Rush Week and starts repeating it every month or something.

I got lazy and stopped making specific notes and just color coded fish and regs.

Yeah, great point about fish only playing one table.

I hope so, I really like rush... just in my experience it isn't that profitable in the long run compared to hu/ring games... but I partially believe that to be because all the people who play like 3/6, 2/4/, 1/2 are forced to play max 100plo if they wanna play. Also, I was sorta shocked that when 100plo came out, everyone left 50plo.

Btw, could someone explain the terms of rush week? Just started playing on FT again when I got a $500 bonus offer

max 250 bucks in bonus if you accumulate 1k FTPs each day for a week, also lower levels. The traffic basically doubled last time, yum yum...

I'm headchefsupreme, and I have a feeling you have me labeled "PLO-******" lol. I've played a couple hands realllly badly against you in the last week.

LOL, yeah you notice when the regs note you when they call you with any cards, call the flop, and then fold ott to another barrel/bet when checked to.

i don't know if this adjustment was right for rush, but i just started to cbet less vs. regs.

i'm sorta shocked FT doesn't have some sort of running promo like that for rush all the time. seems like a great way to promote it... did they do this because the games were getting slow? but sounds sick... not for the $250, ldo.

Well that sounds pretty accurate...

@headchef: Can't remember off the top of my head, but I think I got u as a reg capable of occasional spew. About right?

I have a lot of BIs, really overrolled, hope there will be rush200 soon, as for safe BR, I think anything less than 100bi is a bad idea

Hey guys, just wondering what you think are the optimal WTSD stats for a winning VROOM reg.

Mine seems to be a bit too low in the 22% region

Playing really bad the last few days. I think it's time to take a break for Christmas. Anyone making use of the $100 points bonus? What do you think is going to happen after the period is over? Really considering switching to stars for the new year

I'm up six buy ins. I decided yesterday to deposit like 500 and FT went down for maintinence. Basically broke even and quit back to STARS. I then preceeded to drop 400 in 50plo to this fing monkey who 3bet/4bet every hand and obv ran like god when I got cold decked. Anyways, found a guy at 100plo who was absolutely horrible. I got his stack in the first hand when he called down a set on an AQJ10 board. Anyways, ended up losing 2bi to him and quit. Wtf are people doing calling a 70+shove with bottom set on an ak105 board? Fml. Nice to go back to vrooom and compensate for my losses though. Just quit and am probably going to cash out and take a break for a bit.

Oh yeh, forgot the beat: banned myself from STARS to keep myself from playing/cashed out. Won't be back on till end of next semester. Thinking about just taking the break even and doing the same thing on FT.

Just wanted to wish the entire 2p2 vroom community a very merry Christmas from us here in Aus and a very happy new year (albeit a little in advance). Hope you all have an absolutely wonderful day and an even better new year! Take care and I'll see you at the tables
