Two hands from live 5/5/rock Two hands from live 5/5/rock

Disclaimer: Recently transitioning to PLO to NL and would like a line check on a couple hands. This is a private game, 5/5/rock, 9-handed.

Hand 1
Rock in UTG
1 MP limp, Hero with QJT6 OTB pots to 50. BB, rock and limper call
Flop (205): 7 5 3
Checks around
Turn: T
Checks to me, I bet 140, only limper (loose passive rec, $1000 eff) calls
River (485): A
Check to me, I bet 425?

Is this a reasonable bluff spot? When field checks twice, I don’t think anyone has the straight. I block turned top set and top 2 and also block flush draws that can continue. River card is better for my range and continue to rep TT/AT.

Hand 2
Rock in HJ
CO opens to 40, BTN calls, Hero with A996 in MP1 calls, and rock calls
Flop (165): 964
I check, checks to BTN (young TAG pro, $1K eff) who bets 125
Only I call
Turn (415): K
I check, BTN bets 375, I jam 840

Thoughts on flop line? Debated donking out but i thought it would look too strong. CO and BTN were both aggro post, so i figured I could see someone betting here, especially 4 ways.

And I honestly wasn’t sure if I should x/c or x/r. I could pot flop to 540 and go to turn with SPR 0.5, but I would essentially be forced to call off any turn given my boat outs alone would almost give me enough equity to stack off. X/c allows me to call a large turn bet and fold river on the worst runouts that bring in multiple straights.

1. I'd just check back

2. fold pre. ap c/r flop 100% cause it's such a disaster when he checks back turn

ip and deeper it would be fine to take one off

Hand 1 looks good

Hand 2 I’d fold preflop and smash flop

Surprised people say to fold it pre on hand 2. I feel like we can flop well on a variety of boards with a nut suit and 99. What’s the min calling pre in this configuration? AJJss?

When we XR flop, are we jamming all turns that don’t bring in a straight and check/calling every card that does? We can never fold any turn right?

It's a trash hand. Moreso not that deep and oop

Shove dark on turn

Hand 1: What is your purpose with the button raise? If limpers are incorrectly overfolding flops and not check-raising enough, and/or playing total trash you might somehow dominate, or huge tell boxes like most live donks I love it. If players are playing super tight ranges pre where your rundown and flush outs are very easily dominated fold pre.

Hand 2: Easy call with nut clubs and high mid pair especially in position. I’m assuming you have at least 10x the call behind. I’m also considering the equity you get from single barrel flop bluffs on lockdown boards. If you have very limited such equity because players are wizards then fold is best.

Hand 1, you played it fine. Tough river for a bluff, I bluff river depending on image.

Hand 2, I would check raise flop and shove any turn.
