fish limps co, reg iso's for pot, we are in the sb in a 2/5 structure with TT987ds and 100 bb effective. What's our play? How do you rate TT987 ds as a hand in general and what is our overall strategy in this spot?

Call, this hand flops really well on a few boards so that favors a high spr. Think about it like pocket 3s in NL.

If it’s pocket 33s than it’s a fold pre bc of rio…

It’s way stronger bc of its rundown properties but also lays similar rio as 33s w it’s middling flush draws

How wide does reg iso here? If reg is wider here I would probably prefer to 3b - this hand plays better HU than 3 way and you'll look AA/broadway heavy so have a great chance to stack him.

Looks like a good spot to call with a weak rec limping.

Tt987ds is a good hand, can be opened or call a raise from most position, but generally not 3! Betting.

Lol at folding pocket 3s in hold em cause of reverse implied odds.

Not sure we need to 3b this hand. Sure we clean up our sets and flushes but the best part of this hand is making nut straights.

Easy call. Too strong a hand to fold, too weak to 3b, plays fairly easily in terms of there not being that many flops where you're confused and unsure as to whether you should continue.

There are plenty of analogues between PLO and NLHE but they are most commonly found on the river and most rarely found preflop. This hand is not like 33 in NLHE.
