Hi all,

1/2 plo5 with a $5 bring in, we open AAQJ3ds clubs and spades to $20 over a straddle, we are MP, and bb and straddle calls. $1300 eff. with straddler and $180 eff. bb.

($60): A83ccs. X through.

Turn: 8. X to hero, we bet $15, bb x/r $80, straddle flats, we flat.

River ($300): 9c. X to bb, he fires $200. Hero raises to $675.

I don't mind the flop check, but I think I throwing out a $20 bet as I'd like to be betting this flop with a lot. Having the nut clubs I guess pushes me towards liking the check.

Turn, I think we just 3! here. Why are we smooth calling?

I don't understand the river action. Who checked? Who bet? If the bb checked and straddler bet 200 I think I like calling more than raising as I think 88 is much more likely than 99 based on this action so far.

I guess you are hoping for 8x and 89, and 89 is very possible. I guess I discounted that too high initially.
