Hi all,

Hero is playing 10/10 plo5 with a $25 utg straddle and an aggressive action v raises utg to $75. Hero calls in the straddle with AcKd9d8c8h and we are heads up $2k eff.

($150): Ah6c4c. We flop top top nut flush draw. V bets $100, we call.

Turn ($350): Ts. X, $350, we call.

River ($1050): 2s. X, $1050. Hero? How good of a bluff catcher is this hand? V is capable of bluffing for sure. We block some value with our ace and some bluffs with our 88 and clubs. We don’t have a 75/Q/J but have a K.

Does anyone play this hand fast on the flop or turn?

Thanks,
DT

Why is c/r better than c/c in 4c?

i x raise 'most of the time" on flop... think its one of those hands that if he has nuts we have to just go with it if we decided to play the hand... best against these types is to be aggressive in my experience and show that your willing to go with hands like these... stgill rather avoid these player types as they look to play bigger ands pot size in stead of skill based

I’m no 5 card expert; I think I pot raise flop here alot vs spewy players to take the initiative.

As played; our hand is capped and pretty face up.

I get why you would think of hero calling but we want him to have almost exactly KcKQXXc hands?

If he’s confident enough that he will bet TT/AT big for value here even sometimes then I think we can just fold river.

PS: yeah I think I occasionally check jam turn, but it could be awful.

We actually have slightly more equity in 5c than 4c against the nut part of his range.

As for the hand - I think we should raise the flop - we're like 44% against the top of his range and the rest of his range we can really punish. On the turn as played our equity drops off vs his value range - you're also blocking clubs so I'm not that thrilled to continue. I think I might fold the turn - even vs the top 10% OTT if he is to blindly pot it we only have 51%. Problem is if we do river a flush he should realize that's a huge part of our turn calling range and should be able to get away if we bet unless he has some kind of flush.
