Full Tilt Poker $30/$60 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 4 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter By DeucesCracked Poker Videos

CO: $12000.00
: $16628.00
Hero (SB): $13681.00
BB: $2063.65

Pre Flop: ($90.00) Hero is SB with 9 K A 7
CO raises to $180, 1 fold, Hero calls $150, BB raises to $720, CO calls $540, Hero raises to $1260, BB raises to $2063.65 all in, CO calls $1343.65, Hero raises to $8254.60, CO calls $6190.95

CO is a v good player, wide opening range. BB is a little spazzy and I'm fine getting it in vs him. Standard to just jam the pot? I can't see myself being behind CO but he obv knows what I'm doing and he still called the 2k (quickly fwiw). I'm not sure what to make of that

I think this is way too thin PF. You barely have odds to stack off with BB only against a 15% shoving range and CO is definitely coming along once he calls BB's 3bet.

You're seeing a 3 way AI against AA** or KK** or high rundowns that split equity with you or have you dominated and CO's range, likely made up of Medium/Low ds rundowns that have great equity against yours and BB's PF ranges.

Once CO calls, he knows what you're doing (as you said) and what BB likely has, so you can't expect him to fold to your shove, since he's a good player and obviously had a plan in the (likely) event that you'd jam.

So yeah...very bad PF play, imo. Calling is better because you're getting a great price and can check any flop to BB who'll jam 100% of the time and get to see what CO, who has position on you, does, so in that sense you have the best position post flop, also because your position protects you from CO's perspective, because he has to be worried that you're C/Jamming the flop a good % of the time.

Folding is still better than jamming.
Jamming is standard only if you want to lose money as quickly as possible, given the action.

whoa did not realize that I am behind top 15%. Is there a place that I can look at a list of hands that make up the top x%?

not necessarily correct to assume that BB's range here is AA/KK/high rundowns without any player info about him

Sure, but that's far from saying that shoving 200bb+ in a side pot with CO who is calling 100% of the time is a good play.

I mean, what are we assuming here, that BB is shoving with 35% of hands and that CO will lay his hand down after being the OR and calling a 3bet when we 4bet, or that we're so far ahead of CO's range that we're fine stacking off for more than 200bb against whatever he has?

he has so many low rundowns with the action that giving him top 15% really skews the true picture

Yes, time to gamble.

I like it. But your hand is really borderline for this though, your edge over CO is gonna be thin.

What about CO? When he sees the min4bet leaving room for a repot over shortstack, should he take this as an actual all-in shove from you and fold some hands now?
