$50 pot limit

I raise pre with a6diamonds j3 spades and get 3 callers the button and both blinds. the villian who is the button is a competent player who gets a little out of line in position (actually a good thing in this particular game but he is pissed cause ive noticed this and have played accordingly). He is also somewhat laggy postflop but has so far not shown any bluffs against strength just kinda halfish pot bets when a bunch of people have missed or shown weakness.

529 all spades ($4 pot) sb bets $2 bb folds i call button makes it 12 I make it 24 button shoves..... $80 effective stacks. I folded with a little thought I dont much like folding floped flushes if there is any chance someone is making a play. I tend to outlevel myself against good players here imagining naked ace spades and it never seems to work out. But the conversation after left me wondering

maybe im too much of a nit (I fold)
can't bluff every time, dougy
what did you fold (asking the sb)
who cares
me
idiot
he probably had you crushed, too
thats y i asked
well i may have had you crushed depending on your stupidity
yeah, right
T high flush no good
well what did you have
actually, i just had the As
lol
but i was tired of your bull****
you dont bluff there ever
and wanted to see how ****ing stupid you are
stop acting like you do
i make the naked A play every time i can

anyone read anything into chat? I had solid reasons for raising pre and for the min bet. We had been tangling alot but really anyone even see a lag raising there without either a set or higher than Jhigh?

What is your position? Raise more preflop, although I would fold this hand in most games. I suck at omaha though, so I may be off on this.

Instead of flatting I would reraise to $6 and see what happens. As played I think this is easy to let go when it's made $12. Even if you may sometimes be picking of a bluff, going on with a jack high flush is a huge leak. You've put yourself in a position where you either stack off and sometimes win a little against a bluff, but a lot of the time lose your entire stack to a higher flush. Also, the raise to $24 is bad. Raise more (in general).

Also, do less ******ed chat.

chat is ******ed in general or mine in particular?
sometimes you can get people to tell you there holdings esp fish.
Like I said I had reasons in this games for the minraise:
cheap way to rebluff buttons attempts to pick up pots where it looks like folks missed their draws. Later in sessions enables me to get paid in big pots and generally makes people very passive and cally in large pots and narrows their raising range to the unholy nuts. These are all good things. I wouldnt be doing this if I thought these particular players would adjust. I'm well aware that stacking off with J high flushes is not a great play unless your headsup or 3 handed. However me and the button have been tangleing this makes things different. Just asking if anyone sees someone re re raiseing in that spot as a bluff or with a lower flush regardless of history.

On further thought and combined with the fact that he left right after this hand and the chat after. I think he had it and was tilted that he didnt get a call he thought he was getting.

Well if you really think he will fold his hand to the $24 raise over 50 % of the time then I guess the play is okay.

I really think your reason for the double raise is deluded; it simply isn't a good play. If you do this when testing, you are restricting yourself to what you can bet when you have top set, or you are giving away a lot of information with your bets. It just isn't good poker.

Bet sizing tells are terrible against good players who observe and adjust. But sometimes are the best way to play unobservent players. Plus people, good players, sometimes react weird to them folding too much or coming over the top too much but this can put you in tricky spots. Hand above is a example button is a good player who is too aggro in position I've minraised him 3-4 times in big pots where his line just did not make sense. One reason hes ticked at me. But does this info lean us to a call in this particular spot?

I don't think it's likely that you got bluffed here, especially given chat

Also, if you think villain's flop raise and reraising range are made up almost exclusively of naked As bluffs and bigger flushes (i.e., he doesnt do this with a set or top two), wouldn't calling his flop raise with the intention of calling down be better than raising?

I dont think this guy would do this with top two. He is aggro in pos like I said
but otherwise is kinda a nit. Set is definately possible I'd been playing back at him alot and its a lot eaiser for me to have a flush than a higher set so he knows he's probably drawing live so if he wants to take a stand a set would be a good hand to do it with. Then again whenever I think like this and call
they seem to show up with exactly what their bet says they have. I dunno maybe given his tendency to be aggro in position and the amount of times we have been tangling a calldown might be best.
