Focus on preflop specific stats imo that actually tell you very important information to start determining both stealing/opening ranges for us and more importantly our opponents. Of course knowing what exact type of hands go into these ranges but it still gives you very important information that will converge somewhat quickly.
Ive tried many different types of huds, but I have to say, the only stuff above and beyond name/hands/vp/pfr/3bet that I bother with is:
cbet flop, cbet turn (see who is cbetting a weak range, this will help you construct your out of position calling range, and also allows you to know how much of a good idea it is to float vs your opponent's cbets.
fold v cbet on flop, fold v cbet on turn. (useful for figuring out if people are stationy/if you have fold equity/if you should be potting every street).
check raise flop (useful when deciding whether firing is going to be profitable)
Turn agg%,riv agg% (useful to see who is firing once then giving up).
I would start with a minimal hud, and add stuff as you find a need for certain types of info.
you might pick up on the fact you seem to be exploited when you cbet and give up too much.
you might feel you are leaving money on the table in certain spots against weak opponents and have an idea of a stat that may help you find more spots to be aggro, things like this.
