Again, I'm biased for obv reasons, but I think the consensus is that CardRunners and RunItOnce are the main contenders

Good individual vids can obv be found on other sites, some mentioned ITT - so run a search

1.Is mid set a standard stack off vs unknown on any reasonable board i.e K94 (HU, 100bb effective, srp)?

2. Is KQ72 a call OTB after over-limping and facing an iso (getting 2.75:1, 125bb effective)? Would you call 100% of your over-limping range here?

In general, if I have a good draw (ie: 13out wrap or better), is it better to just call a pot bet in front of me than re-raise pot if the bettor isn't likely to fold?

Yes on both, although I'd be the one isoing in the second spot.

Not much point in shoving with no FE, unless SPR is uber low and no play left on later streets.

1a.What kind of hands do we prefer to 3bet squeeze in position vs an open and a flat?
b. How does the two players stats and position, change our squeeze range?

2. What kind of factors are we thinking about, when we contemplate whether to flat/fold or 3-bet, as the 2nd person in the pot?

3. When table selecting, what is the most important seat selection advice?
I use to always want a nit on my left, and a high vpip player on my right. But I've started to notice, that having a high vpip player 2 to my left, is good if there is a tight player between us. This is because very often I'll be in the Co or OTB opening and the high vpip player will willingly play too many pots oop defending the blinds.
I feel like the number one position you should be worried about is your immediate left, a high 3bet player can make life difficult, and a high vpip floaty player can be extremely brutal to play vs, especially if the pots are often HU because the other players are tight.

What are weakest aces you'd pot in the BB facing 5 limpers?

Thanks for your reply. Do you consider the essentail plan from runitonce to be a good startig point for a beginner before spending more on more advanced and expensive content?

1. Premium high card combos, premium AA vs ubernitty openers. Ur lowering SPR and thus negating ur positional advantage, while up against 2 ranges. You wanna hit the flop often and strong.

2. Position, postflop edge, PFR range, to name a couple

3. Position vs the weakest player is the primary objective, not much else to it. If no clear choice, loose players on ur right is a good starting point.

Are there some general guidlines about what a reasonable fold to cbet and fold to turn cbet is?

I play a somewhere around 25/20/7 style and my fold to flop cbet is 45 and fold to turn cbet 38. I play PLO10, some PLO25

My fold to cbet is 61%. I guess it all depends what kind of hands you call with. generally at these stakes, i'll get involved in multi way pots with JJxx+ and suited aces with not much else going for them where i'm just playing fit or fold.

I'm also stealing a lot from the co/btn, and get 3 bet a reasonable amount of the time. At that point i'm mostly playing shove or fold when the flop comes and i face a cbet.

So it does depends on your overall strategy a little.

Aside from that, yes the standard is slightly better but nothing to really worry about. I'm just about to move to PLO25, and the only major adjustments i'm making are altering my pre flop criteria slightly (so playing less AKxxds hands, and more mid DS rundowns) 3 betting more and bluffing rivers more.

3 betting is hardly required at PLO2 as you don't mind hands going multi way, especially hands like AKQJds. As you get better players at PLO5, you can work a little harder to isolate the bad players with hands that are not so good multi way, 8765ds for example.

But in all honesty we are talking tiny adjustments here as there is not a significant difference between PLO2 and PLO5. You should generally be playing nutty hands, keeping bluffs to a minimum and value betting as thin as possible.
After losing 9 buy-ins at 10 PLO and reading this post I was inspired to drop down all the way down to 2PLO. I have put in 2k hands so far.

gj

generally when anyone is starting out, don't ever think you are too good to drop down a level or 2 - even if it's just to regain a bit of confidence.

That makes sense. I was wondering how are you playing those suited aces with nothing to go with postflop multiway? Do you peel alot of flops with just a naked flushdraw or do you play them more aggressive?

Can anyone link me to some PLO starting hand guides please? I have tried the search function but cannot find!

I am struggling with what hands to 3bet, I'm assuming if I'm on the btn with 8TJQds and the action goes utg raises 3bb, utg+1 calls, 1 folds, I should be potting this all day?

it might have been a bit confusing when i said suited aces - i means AsXsXX, not AAsXsx - i don't think you toom it as such, but i wanted to clarify anyway.

I think the old addage that "the straight draw is the flush draws best friend" applies here. When we play the NFD multi way, we shut out the hands we want to keep in (lower flush and straight draws) and only really get action from the top of everyone's range.

So yeah, i'll just peel and hope to get callers behind me, as for the most part they sweeten the pot and take none of my equity.

Is AK(QT) a 3bet otb vs somewhat maniacal CO (39/30/27) pot cbets 70%, 150bb deep?

What kinds of hands do you typically 3bet here?
SSPLO Beginners Thread - New to PLO? Try this for quick questions/tips/chat Quote

Typically CO's opening range here will be around 50%, so 3bet wide, maybe between 20% and 25%. I would even 3bet AKQT badugi in this spot although this might be argueable. Perfect hands for 3betting this villain are those slightly non-nutty hands like Q985ds, J764ds or KJ98ss. Probably better cold-call weaker KKxx or QQxx hands with one or no suits.
