ipoker?
ongame?
What would you recommend?

But i just thought the rake on stars was lowest no matter what.. i think i did some calculations recently on plo50 hu, it was cheaper @ stars even though you could get a 60% flat on ipoker.

Equally good at both.
If you're equally good at both then just play the one you enjoy more. I assume that would probably be HU SNGs which I think would also be good for your 6max game (whereas the reverse wouldn't necessarily be true).

What? Doubt so.

You're saying Stars rake like 50% less than iPoker?

I just switched from NLHE to PLO and while reviewing my hands it seems like my opponents have close to 40% equity over and over again on the flop. If I bet pot they are correct to call every time. How can I defend against this? Should I over bet the pot every time there are 2 to a flush with connected cards?

Std answer: if u don't like 60/40s, don't play PLO

Better answer: sooner or later, you'll overset them or dominate their draws. That's where the real value comes from. When you know u have the best hand/draw and will likely get action, potting is fine. Obv, u need to balance ur sizing vs good players.

If u can afford it, def. Nanostake rake is insane. You should be able to pull off a marginal win even so, so u likely have leaks.

its just i always seem to get called down by 3 high flushes, or just some insanely bad runner runner draw or theyll put in 80% of their stack on the flop and hit the turn. crazy.

best way to plug leaks? Ive had some coaching, and although i found it good, it doesnt seem to have affected my game.

Ask for a refund if said coach couldn't help u beat PLO2

Runbad is runbad, but regarding the 3-hi flushes... Never EVER bluff in those games

iPoker. Go read the threads in the 2p2 iPokerVIP sponsored forum to find out how to get one.
(mods, I assume linking this is allowed since it's a 2p2 sponsor's forum).

just wanted to say thanks to some of the people who frequent this thread and answer n00b questions.

I read it from start to finish so far, and it has answered lots of queries, and helped me get the foundations down for my game and also my study plan.

Who knows, maybe i'l have a Poker Goals thread up soon!

A question regarding nano HUPLO

is it beatable post rake (-) rakeback? I want to teach gf to play hu plo, maybe 2plo and some 4plo. Ipoker is so tilting and she can't play more than 5 tables of 6max nlhe. She plays 12 tables 6maxnlhe on stars easily.

Be a balla and stake her at PLO10

Given people are asking for HUPLO200 on Party due to rake issues at PLO100, I'm assuming nano HU isn't beatable, lol.

If she can break even, she would make a killing on rakeback?

I can't multi-table. Anyone else have difficulty with this early in their careers and any tips?

I had a similar problem with NLHE, but then was able to 6 table as I was able to read bets a bit better. But my mind can only do that with one table for PLO. I'd like to be able to two table and get double the hands in.
