2/2 live, 9 player

1) one player gets suited AA or KK at least once a dealer (30min)
2) another player gets a set OFTEN

those 2 players are printing $.

3) at the same table i'm card dead for 4 hrs

How unusual is this for 3 of the players to get the same types of hands over and over again? (and the AA player never ran into the set player.)

OK, thanks. What else would be some good hands to 3bet oop that are not really on the premium monster side? Does smth like this work? T 9 J 5

Or should I just stick to monster while I'm learning?

And people advocating limping weak AA and KK hands, what if there is a raise and a 3bet, flatting doesn't make sense to me here so always 4bet? This makes the pot around 100bb if the 3bettor calls and I have to stack off any flop with my 50bb left on the 100bb pot. How good of a spot is it to 4bet weak AA after limping?

You mean on the river only, right?
I believe I was correct to call the flop and turn based on odds of the board pairing.

until river, calling these bets is fine based on odds, as long as you insta muck that river bet

you gotta peel at least once there imo, though making the flush might get u into trouble there obv.
still you have top pair+gutter going with your fd and pretty much any 5,6,7,8,9,T is a decent turn card

wouldnt a 5 or 8 complete his straight if he was semi-bluffing on a draw?

i guess if turn = 5 or 8 then c/f?

its obv a tricky spot to play oop, i didn't say it's like fist-pump-gii on any of these turns. (edit: oc some of the turn cards are)
but, if we decide to call with this hand oop pre, i'm pretty sure we're losing value if we c/f this kinda flop

Is it possible to beat plo10/plo25 rake for a player that is trying to beat these stakes?(obviously a high stake player can beat them) should I keep playing in same stakes untill I beat the rake?

I ment pre-rakeback.
I don't know how to calculate my rakeback, playing on FTP and its kinda awkward.

It's possible pre RB, but you would have to be the kind of player that can beat 100PLO to beat it RB-less I would guess

The smart move is to get RB is what I'm saying

nothing you can do, too many potential draws in range. Better to just jam flop, fwiw, waiting for blanks doesn't really help on this texture.

So if I understand correctly, the only situation where a laydown on the turn would be possible would be a very dry board?
Maybe also deeper stacks? He only had 19BB left when I jammed, maybe if he had 200BB left and board was 3d instead, then I could fold the turn?

EDIT: Even in this case I don't think I can fold because he can have bottom set and at this level maybe even K3.

You do understand correctly.

Let's say you have pocket sevens on K72r and someone pots vs ur bet, it's a very different range compared to KT3ss when u have dem tens.

Stack depth also comes into play, I prob couldn't fold sets at this level with 150bb or less w/o specific reads, lol

you dont wanna get 3bet with that hand, you'll have to fold, but can call a single raise. hand plays well multiway, can flop a decent set and nut flush draw....misses flops somewhat often, but when it hits, hits very well.

when you have a nutty hand that doesn't connect often, it's fine to limp if the flop is likely to be multiways. suited aces and raggy big pairs are fine candidates, especially from EP.

AJTTds would be an easy raise as it flops well and often even multiways. Just think about how much money you wanna put in with any given hand before seeing the flop, then play accordingly. Ur gonna be somewhat face-up from a reg's POV, but at small stakes it's not a major concern. Seeing flops vs fish is more important than playing balanced.

EDIT: napsus beat me to it, lol
